Jackson equalized for Chelsea with a brilliant finish, but their celebration didn't last long before Jones gave Liverpool the winning goal. Regardless of the result, I think Chelsea were the better side. Better luck to them next time.

Mental problem?  that sounds tough.

What I think about this arsenal team is their inability to remain consistent. It's clearly unlike city that always find ways to do certain things no matter how tough it might be. I know that arsenal and city are completely different team, but the mentality of the young arsenal players is still developing. A team that wants to win title must learn to take their chances and score goals, because that's what it takes. If you noticed city for example, they are a very good side that scores alot. City concede goals as well, but they make sure that they score enough goals to win games, which is unlike arsenal that are very good at defending a game, but are not consistent with scoring goals except when it's a good day for them. There is nothing bad in conceding goals, just score the necessary goals to win your game.

And I think arsenal needs to learn how to play without some key players. There are players that I actually expect to step up their games now that some key players are injured, but i don't really see that happening.

Not really bad Arsenal's performance in Champion League after winning 2 of 3 matches and being draw one match at the first match when facing Atalanta. Actually Arsenal have got two losses in domestic league and seems their performance better in champion league than domestic league.
But too early for predicting with Arsenal performance because they face lack mentality when facing on crucial match, after losing last match in domestic league from Bournemouth Arsenal success recovering to the winning trend after defeating Donesk in Champion League and have secure 7 points of 3 matches.

Against Shakhtar Donetsk, The conversion rate was not so good but a job that got done

Arteta really needs to change things, Need to transfer energy in Premier League performance in the Champions League.
Arsenal has a great defense and midfield but they need players who are ruthless in the final third, Like City, Liverpool, Madrid, etc.
Arsenal is not at that level yet attacking-wise, blunt at the top end.
A lot of chances are wasted, do something otherwise this might be the worst season than what was expected at the start.

Meanwhile in UCL, their productivity in scoring goals is very small. They won 2 times with narrow scores, they also got 1 draw in UCL.

Seems Arsenal get better performance when playing in Champion League match although their mentality still lack behind the only on big four premier league team never winning UCL trophy yet. But last three matches in this season Arsenal performed well after success defeating biffer team PSG and last match Donesk.

The victory at Champion League should be capital for Arsenal against Liverpool upcoming match and forget their loss last match from Bournemouth, in other side Liverpool have in the winning trend last several consecutives matches will be difficult opponent team for Arsenal getting back in the winning race.
