After the international break, I think that deal was done not to hurt Sporting too much.
I’m happy United has a new manager but worried about repeated occurrences from the players. They will play well in his first season and down tools from his second season. Hopefully, it changes this time.

Anyone betting who among the current players will be dropped? I'm not being negative but this usually happens when there's a new one in charge.

I read several articles and many writers argue that Ten Hag's ex-Ajax players other than De Light will be dropped. I think Casemiro, Rashford, and those who make mistakes regularly will get dropped too. Not sure if he will sell all of them though. I can see Antony moved to another club, not sure if I'd get rid of Casemiro or Rashford. Maybe wait for a few matches and see if they improve their game or not (consistently) before deciding which players should go.

Arsenal have stumbled again in the Premier League title race after dropping points for the third straight week and are five points off the pace at the top.
Manchester City is struggling with injuries but Arsenal is not taking the opportunity to put themselves in contention, the same mistake he made last season.

Arsenal could not hold on to them and lost to them in a one goal win for for Newcastle at the end of the match. Arsenal has now lost points and have fallen more in the league standings. Newcastle have really struggled to get a win for sometime now and they scored in the early minutes of the game and were to hold up to the pressure of the game from Arsenal up till the end of the match. For Arsenal to be well positioned for the league title, they need to improve in their game and goal winning probability.

The difference between winning the league and not getting results when the team plays badly is that someone must step up for a moment of magic.

Out of the three big clubs, only Liverpool won their match today which elevated them to the first position on the table. Manchester City lost and is currently two points bshind Liverpool. While Arsenal lost took them to 4th position on the table and Nottingham forest is third on the table. Football is full of surprises and we ars yet to see more.

I think Arsenal has already ruined people's ticket, which means city loss won't be a problem either. Even those that might have avoided the arsenal game in their ticket would still end up sad because of city. Arteta needs to start getting things right. Martin Odegaard's absence shouldn't be a problem at all. Arteta sold some players and sent others on loan, so there shouldn't be any form of excuse from him or the boys. Their habit of always passing the ball around at the back without creating better attacking opportunity should also be addressed.

And as for City, well, that defeat that they've been avoiding has finally come. Their next four games is a massive test that might possibly cost them alot if they are not careful. The absence of Rodri was so visible in today's game, So pep needs to come up with something, because i don't think that kovacic will be able to keep up in the next four tough games.
