Personally I think City is doing very well despite... but looking at the way they have played, Tottenham are not doing very well, and although each game is a different story, City still has a lot of quality and has not lost it, also Pep is very strategic and that helps a lot with what they can achieve, this is what I think, so if I had to make a bet I wouldn't hesitate, for me City wins, unless something very extraordinary happens to them, they have great players and a very good coach, Tottenham are not that bad, but sometimes they lose focus on the game.

So in the match against Tottenham, it looks like we will see Man City improve a little and it could still overwhelm Tottenham. Things are stacking up nicely for Liverpool, this weekend they are playing an away game against Southampton, who are at the very bottom of the table with only one win and one draw in 11 games. It doesn't get any easier than that.
Meanwhile, their biggest rival, Man City will be desperate for a win over Tottenham after the horrible 4 matches losing streak. It may not be easy though, Tottenham is not doing that well in the league (10th place) but can be very dangerous. In their last game three weeks ago, Man City got beaten 2-1 in the EFL Cup game which marked the beginning of that 4 losses run.
A similar thing with Arsenal, they haven't won any of their last 3 games and have something to prove, but they're facing Nottm Forest, who are the dark horse of this season, so anything can happen.

On paper, Manchester City is the favorite team in this match, especially with Tottenham's poor performance in the Premier League.

However, this is football where sometimes surprises happen, and I am sure Tottenham did not come to lose, but they came on a mission to steal points from Manchester City's headquarters. I will not expect so much from him in the first game, because he does not have the same set of players that he had in sporting in Manchester United. I believe it will still take some time for him to get his strategy into the head of the Manchester players, so, for the very first games he would be coach, his strategy will be to continue with whatever Manchester United player are very familiar with and then make the changes easily as he progresses with the team. Ruud has set the standard high of what Amorim should deliver for United.

The one that interests me the most is Man City Vs Tottenham. There's a lot of pressure on Pep Guardiola to win this one and prove that the 4-games losing streak was just a temporary flop and things will go back to normal.

It's also a debut for Ruben Amorim who will lead Man United in an away game against Ipswich. The team's morale seemed to improve under the interim management of Ruud Van Nistelroy so I expect a win for United.
