Pep Guardiola in his interview said that he will return to make Man City as expected. and moreover, Pep's contract at Man City has been confirmed to have been renewed and extended for the next year, and an extension option until 2027.

It was an absolute disaster for the City. They needed a win really badly to end the four-long losing streak. Instead, they got the worst beating in recent history and are now having five losses in a row, something that has never happened since 2006.
And to make things worse, their next league game is against Liverpool (away). If Liverpool wins today (vs weak Southampton) and if they beat Man City next week, they'll be 11 points ahead. At that point, the City could wave goodbye to their chances of defending the League championship.
