It seems the giants are falling in this week's matches. Among the contenders, only Liverpool and Arsenal has a chance to collect all three points. This is bound to happen even to big clubs because of the busy schedule this month.

I forgot to mention Nottingham Forest that won too. What a season they are having so far.

Too many surprises happened this week in the premier league. Man City was held to a draw by Everton, then Nottingham also seemed to be better than Tottenham, Chelsea also lost to Fullham. and Man utd also lost points to Wolves. I was really surprised by all the results. I'm sure many people have experienced losses in betting this time. But Liverpool did not disappoint. And I hope Arsenal don't let us down today either.

Chelsea tripped on Fulham and didn't even earn a point at home, which would likely cause them to drop to the 3rd place and be overtaken by Arsenal, if the Gunners win against the 19th Ipswich tonight at home, which is very likely.

But has anyone seriously expected that halfway through the season we would see Nottm Forest on the 3rd place? They are performing surprisingly well even though their performance is not at the top level i.e. they often get beating from the top clubs (e.g. even Man City in deep crisis beat them 3-0) but they are consistent in scoring 3 points when playing against weaker clubs. Yesterday's victory over Tottenham was their 4th consecutive win in the league.

Another bad game by Man United, they've lost to 17th Wolverhampton (2-0). The red card for Fernandes played a part here, but that's not much of an excuse. They are now getting closer to the relegation zone, being (8th points away from the 18th place) and they have difficult games ahead, against Newcastle and then Liverpool.

What makes this draw sad is that the levels of these two teams are clearly different before. But in this match everything looked equal. Everton only had difficulties at the start. But they adapted quickly and managed to even the score. Man City with better squad depth should be able to play better. But, as can be seen, they are currently not playing with maximum performance. I think they have a crisis of confidence right now.

Guardola has his head full right now with a lot going through his mind because the sudden decline of Manchester city is something to worry about because obviously there's problem in the city line up and Guardola is on making use of what is available at his disposal because about eight of his senior team is out injured.
Pep will just have to do damage control for the rest matches before these injured players  can come back but this is a great lesson to other that you don't build your team around certain players because when ever they are out the club will definitely suffer

Liverpool always showed positive result in each match. In this match, they won with 3 goals although they were conceded goal in the first half of the match. Leicester City only can challenge Liverpool in the first half of the match. In second half of the match, Leicester City has no chance to challenge Liverpool because Liverpool showed their quality and playing with a more offensive game. Anyway, Liverpool is leading with 7 points now.

I was actually confused about one thing about Liverpool's performance at the beginning, that even though they put good pressure on Leicester City, they scored one goal and Liverpool could have scored another goal up until the 45th minute. Moreover, in other league matches, it has happened that weak teams have beaten strong teams, so I was actually confused about what the output would be, in the first half of the match. Liverpool later showed that they are the best team in the Premier League.

Sometimes I feel I should begin to congratulate Liverpool on them going to win the premier league this season. When other teams are faltering, you won’t see anything to say against Liverpool because their performance is just too good that you won’t find them wanting of their performance in the field. They have been the best in the premier league and have also shown the same mentality in the champions league. I don’t see them losing the premier league for now, but time will tell if they can keep up with this great performance.

Arsenal finally won today's match because they know how important it is to win their home match against Ipswich by 1-0, to top Chelsea in the Premier League table. At least they have appeared in the second spot, below Liverpool with 6 points, and above Chelsea with a point.

Arsenal being in the title race contender, there is still hope for them anyway. The major problem they are having in the race is to top Liverpool. The moment they top them, I think they can be in a good position to lift the Premier League trophy because no other club can challenge them for that.
