Leicester City's problem is ownership and lack of accountability. I don’t think many Leicester fans would have expected anything else but a relegation battle this season.
The situation is similar to what the Wolves have experienced. Serious problems with the ownership, and constantly terrible decision-making across the past few years, but at least Leicester has just left the relegation zone.
Lack budget spending by the ownership make Leicester City get difficult keep on the top performance and recently one point left from relegation standing position. Leicester City is the premier league promotion teams in this season behind Southampton and Ipswich Town get difficult reach the higher standings place.
Leicester City not take benefit with January window transfer opening and Ruud Van Nistelrooy have adopt his tactician with current players leaving by previous manager. I don't sure with Leicester City possibility will stay at Premier League or not for next season.
Leicester City has been on a downward spiral since they won the Premier League.
Downward coz the shift in transfer strategy, and mismanagement of contracts. They lost key players each season and key backroom staff (analysts, scouts, etc..) which almost certainly impacted the recruitment success.
Leicester fans only expected for mid-table and freedom from the relegation zone this season.
Hopefully, Ruud and Leicester will not be relegated.
