Liverpool stands the chance of extending their lead on the premier League table up to ten points today if they can get a victory over Aston Villa at away in the ongoing game this night, this match is going to be a tough match for Liverpool because Aston Villa too is not a bad team because they are in 9th position with 38 points so a win for Villa will see them move to up to seven position  which is a good one as they they have eyes on the top four spots so this game is open for the both team because they know what is at stake for them if any of them lose this game
The first half is over and Aston Villa came from one goal down to take the lead on the dying minute of the extra time. Watkins beautiful header gave Aston Villa the lead amd made the difference in the first half. However, I believe that Liverpool will be able to equalize this goal in the second half but they need to be very careful and aggressive with their attack because Aston has something cooking.

Aston Villa 2 - 1 Liverpool and we're at half-time.
Let's see iv Villa managed to drive that win till the final whistle. Despite the result, Liverpool has over 3 times more shots on goal, so the smell of equaliser is strong.
It's Marcus Rashford debut for AV, he's motivated and got something to prove.
If the result doesn't change, Liverpool would have 7 points advantage over 2nd Arsenal, but with one game more played, so potentially the gap could be reduced to only 4 points. AV would be in 8th place and still in the good position to fight for the top 4.

The anticipated equalizer came already courtesy of Trent Alexander-Arnold's goal. The smile of the title contenders are probably still on their faces because a draw still means drop in points. Let's see how long that will last as momentum looked to have shifted to LFC and they are likely to get another one.

Yes, the match ended with a draw. Aston Villa 2-2 Liverpool. There is no big change in EPL standing, it is not a too bad result for Liverpool. Arsenal seems difficult to overtake Liverpool since the point gap is quite large. I think Liverpool is still safe to win the EPL trophy this season because other top teams in EPL performed quite unstable this season.

I didn't watch this match but when I saw the result, I was quite surprised that Aston Villa was able to hold Liverpool to a draw. But yes, it was done at Aston Villa's home ground.

Moh Salah did manage to score an early lead in the 29th minute, however, the situation was reversed so that Aston Villa was able to lead 2-1 in the first half. The match went quite tightly, it seemed, even the statistics showed that Aston Villa was very balanced in Liverpool's game. And luckily there was a last goal from Alexander-Arnold so that Liverpool was saved from defeat and ended in a draw.

The match between Aston Villa vs Liverpool is games week 29 and moving awhile because Liverpool have final EFP Cup match, being draw is bad result for Liverpool considering eight points remaining awhile from Arsenal and have opportunity cut off become 5 points left. Liverpool only won 1 of 3 consecutives matches in Premier League after being draw by Everton and won from Wolves before getting another draw against Aston Villa.
Arsenal get advantage after Liverpool failed with three points and have ambition for securing three points upcoming match make its close for returning back to first standings place.

Villa Park is a tough place to win. I'm pleased with Liverpool's performance, but not with the result.
I think Liverpool lost concentration, it's a sign of tiredness.
The keeper Alison should have come out for the ball, especially in the second goal. It ain't a comfortable ride, Slot needs to reset.
Poor Salah, scoring goals and assists while the defense is crap.
And yeah, the door is still open for Arsenal...

A less than pleasant result for Liverpool, although they did not lose, they still lost 2 points which will certainly be used by their competitors.

It must be admitted that Aston Villa played well in this match so that they could prevent Liverpool from returning home with a win. Yes, they became a stumbling block for Arne Slot's team in week 26.

Well, the result of this match was indeed a bit unfavorable for Liverpool, who wanted to increase the point difference so that they were further away from their competitors. But it must be admitted that Aston Villa is able to match Liverpool's game. Even at one point Aston Villa also played a little better. But that's not surprising considering Aston Villa are the hosts.

I think the results of this game is a favourable results for the both teams because sharing the points was the best instead of losing for any of them yes it's true that Liverpool are the once that will be regretting the most because they supposed to win this game and increase their lead in the premier League table to ten points further cementing their first position which is a good step towards winning the but Aston Villa is not just a team that is a push over because they are also in contention for a top four finish which will see them qualifying for the champions League next season overall this game was a fair one for both teams

The Champions League adventure is over for Man City this season.
I was hoping they could pull off a surprise and go through to the final 16, despite losing at home 3-2 in the first leg, but nope. They looked rather pale in Madrid yesterday, struggling to create any decent chances and making rookie mistakes in defense that caused them to concede another 3 goals.
Oh well. At least they can now focus entirely on the Premier League. I am no longer optimistic about their chances of beating Liverpool this weekend, not with defence playing that poorly.

To me, I had already written Manchester City at of the English Premier League title this season. In as much as I knew that they will not scale through in the champions league of the season also, but I believed that they had better chances in the Champions League than in the English Premier League. Don't get me wrong because if you look at the English Premier League clubs of today, you will understand how difficult it is to beat in the English team this time around. If Manchester City is to play Newcastle United today, I will not be 100% confident that Manchester City will win. In the same vein, if Manchester City is to play Aston Villa today I would also not be confident that Manchester City will win. Same thing goes if they are to play Liverpool, Chelsea and even Nottingham Forest. So it is safe to assume that Manchester City has said goodbye to the Champions League and as well as the English Premier League this is only if Liverpool will continue their consistent form.

Indeed, it can easily be said that this is a big loss for Manchester City and its ambitions for success this season. They have also sought a place to play foreign enemy territory in the Champions League, but their defence is really disappointing. The amount of individual errors that were committed by the players were perfectly seized by the other side especially when they came to face a team like Real Madrid. Although they are still able to penetrate the attack line in some instances, the attack line is not as sharp as the one in the previous games, it is hard to create dangerous opportunities. Guardiola must be fuming to be out of the competition in this manner.

Now they have to concentrate on premiership but the match against liverpool next weekend will be tensed. The overall chances for the defence to clinch the match are slim if the defence’s ability remains as bad as it was. But Guardiola is recognized as an extraordinary talent in terms of creating successful tactics, so very soon something can change.

Yes of course, because if their competitors can get a win this week, then they will be able to cut the gap of 2 points from the gap in the previous week.

Explaining the end of the season, every point is very valuable and it is indeed a very crucial point to be able to get, because slowly they can get closer, and when the gap is getting closer, then the pressure for the team that is on top will also be greater.

After eliminating from Champion League, Manchester City only have FA Cup and premier league opportunity for trophy winning this season, its bad result for the first time get failure reach the knock out round and Manchester City have leave Champion League most early at playoff knock out round.
Now, Manchester City will focus at domestic league and get back opportunity for winning premier league trophy, have 17 points left from Liverpool its bit difficult will return back to premier league tittle race or reach target for finish as top fourth standings position.
