With this weekend game Liverpool is now in a better position to win the league because currently Liverpool is leading with 11 points which will be tough for arsenal to catch up with Liverpool  one team that is inconsistent with their performance when it comes challenging for the premier League title is arsenal because they have not not been consistent with their performance and consistency is what is needed in winning the league but arsenal has been struggling to keep form and with this present form that they are exhibiting i don't see them winning the premier League title in this season
Arsenal looks like they will just repeat last season. Where they will always be the team that is ranked second in the end. Well, that's quite surprising because Arsenal is actually quite good in quality as a title contender. But every season they always fail to maintain their top position. Meanwhile, this season, Arsenal couldn't even overtake Liverpool from the start. Liverpool have started to dominate since towards the middle of the season. And I am also quite sure that this season the title will be in Liverpool's hands.

Arsenal are good enough as challengers, but not quite ready to be champions. They keep pushing to finish in 2nd place and then some quotes of them going again next season. lol
I always appreciate the players for giving their best but always let down by poor recruitment and player management.
And I don't blame the manager, Arteta is a coach like Big Sam Allardyce, Harry Redknapp, or Moyes.
They will provide a competitive sensation but by the end of the day, they don't win trophies.
No need appreciating players that has failed to live up to expectations because season in and out it's thesame old story that repeats itself so I don't see the reason why you should be praising players and even the coaching crew of what they have failed to to achieve with what is on ground arsenal can't win the league even in the next three seasons to come if the board doesn't take drastic decisions about the management of the team because it's obvious that the coaching crew has failed to change the mindset and mentality of the players concerning winning the league another coach should be brought in because this coach doesn't have worth it takes to win the premier League title
So what do you think is the solution. Always finishing second is a very good record that any club will be happy with. This does not have any bad effect on the club or the players, neither the coach. The fans are just eager to lift up EPL after a veryong time. Arsenal was not even winning EPL during Arse Wengers time and they still kept him. One day, it will be their own turn.

It looks like Chelsea is going to cut their losing streak now as they are already leading with three goals against Southampton. There's no way they would allow that team to stage a comeback. It would be too shameful for them if the bottom-table team managed to draw here.

It's a sure win for Chelsea, but it's not much to be proud of. Southampton is at the very bottom of the table with only 9 points earned in 26 (or 27) games. They have absolutely nothing to play for at this stage, as there's no way they'll be escaping the relagation zone.
But win is a win.

Aston Villa has lost 4-1 by Crystal palace.  :-X

I was even surprised by what happened on the field in that match. Because Aston Villa they only play the ball more in the middle of the field and always have difficulty making more attacks into the Crystal Palace defense area. Crystal Palace really put together a solid defense and the way they attack is also quite unpredictable. Aston Villa probably did not expect that in this match they would face such strong resistance from Crystal Palace. So they are mentally not ready for this. In the second half things even got much worse for Aston Villa. I, who favored Aston Villa in this match, also felt confused about what was happening. Crystal Palace did improve last week. but I didn't expect them to beat Aston Villa with such a big score. And Aston Villa really wasted their opportunity to improve their ranking in the standings.

Southampton is most weakness teams in premier league this season and dropped under bottom standings awhile behind won 3 of 27 games so far, its not surprising result for Chelsea after success defeating Southampton and improving current standings back to the top fourth position. The victory over Southampton make Chelsea success stopping two consecutives losses in premier league after defeating by Brighton Albion and last week defeated by Aston Villa.
For upcoming match will face Copenhangen at UEFA Conference League round of 16 before facing Leicester City, not sure yet will Chelsea keep continue the winning trend or not in premier league match for securing the top fourth standings in this season.

It's not surprising if you look at their record. I can't say why but their away games are really weak having won only two so far. Aston Villa can't be in the European competitions if majority of their travels ends up in a loss. What could have been a top five became a top ten and that's after playing more games.

All the fault tonight was on Emery. He made Palace look like Real Madrid, it was not encouraging.
After a great result against Chelsea, he changed the system that was starting to work, he did not keep the momentum going with Rashford and Asensio. These guys need minutes not being benched. lol
So frustrating watching this game, and if Villa plays like tonight against Club Bruge it’s gonna be a nightmare week.

United has come back from behind to lead Ipswich by 2:1 at old Trafford Ipswich open the score on the 4th minutes of the game to lead United by a goal to nill before United responded by mounting up pressure on the Ipswich defense line as morsy scored a own goal to level things up before de ligt made it 2:1 on the 26' minute of the game i really expect united to win this game and give hope to their already struggling season. United has to continue this way in the second half and put more pressure on the Ipswich defense line

Liverpool didn't have much problems with Newcastle tonight. Another 3 points after 2-0 win. Newcastle didn't even managed to make a single shot on target (and only 3 shots in total).
Nottm Forest an Arsenal split points, which was a good news for Man City, who won an away game against Tottenham 1-0. The City have lost 2 previous games against Spurs (one of them being an embarasing 4-0 loss in front of own audience) so it was unclear how well would they do today, but they didn't disappoint and got their revange. It was a decent, good paced game and it's a bit of surprise we didn't see more goals.
Currently Man City is only 1 point behind the 3rd Nottm Forest and I think it's just a matter of time before they take that spot. And, I think, the 3rd place is the most they can hope for this season.

It feels bad that after giving a tremendous performance for different seasons, the Arsenal team still misses out on lifting the Premier League trophy. I don't want the future of Arteta to be like that of Arsene Wenger who takes time before winning a Premier League trophy. Arteta is a young and vibrant coach, I just wish he could be favored to win the premier League trophy next season without much interference of not being consistent in winning matches

Chelsea may be aware that they must get full points now. If they keep getting losses, they will be out of the top 5 in EPL standings. With this win, their position is still in the top 5 and they have 2 point difference with Newcastle because Newcastle got a lose today. But this is a challenge for Chelsea, they need to maintain their performance if they want to finish in UCL or UEL zone.

With 21 more points, Liverpool will be assured of winning the Premier League table, more assured than they currently are with their thirteen-point gap. It is a good season for Liverpool; Arsenal has failed to catch up. Personally, I'm thinking that Arsenal will only be able to win something in the Premier League when we have a striker who can deliver 20+ goals in a season.

Arsenal's maximum points are 87, but I hope on May 10th, the big match between Arsenal and Liverpool will be exciting... because the next match between Liverpool and Arsenal will get 3 points for sure... so we need an interesting show for both teams...

What's actually interesting is the fight for the champions league slot, because the 1 point difference in each position makes it a little more challenging... I'm sure Man City will get that slot, and the last slot is an interesting one between Chelsea and Notth Forest.

Liverpool keep consistent their performance and seems easily for securing the premier league tittle behind Arsenal have inconsistent performance recently, Arsenal have being draw by Nottingham Forest at games week 27 and last games week defeating by West Ham United. Second consecutives match in premier league Arsenal can't secure three points and make 13 points left awhile for reaching the top place from Liverpool.
premier League have 11 games weeks left but Liverpool can winning early before the last games week depend on Arsenal performance keep consistent or not, for upcoming match Arsenal will face Manchester United and if losses three points will make Liverpool without any pressure team become the winner in this season.

Ipswich may be one of the teams to be relegated but it's still tough work to score against them and protect that lead for 40+ minutes with only 10 men. Kudos to Man U for holding on that long. Everybody probably thought it's going to be another loss for MU when Jaden scored to tie the game immediately after the red card.
