since yesterday and today the fifth round of the FA Cup has started again and the favorite teams have really been able to win. Likewise, Man City today managed to win against Plymouth Argyle with a score of 3-1. And the remaining matches are Newcastle vs Brighton, Man United vs Fullham and Nottingham vs Ipswich. In these 3 matches Newcastle, Man United and Nottingham are my favorites. How about you guys?

Man City dominated over Plymouth in possession and scoring chances, but it was a bit of a nervous game by the City. They lost the first goal, managed to equalise just before the half time, but they couldn't score another one until the 76th minute.

If I had to bet on Man United Vs Fulham, I'd probably go with Fulham. They're doing much better in the league and it's just not a great season for United overall.

Fifth round FA cup tie between Newcastle and Brighton is quite entertaining ;D two goals, two red cards, and then you have goal disallowed by VAR. Nothing separates them so far which means this might actually go to a penalty shootout. Brighton better be careful not to get a second yellow in the second half of ET.

United has been kicked out from FA Cup due to their carelessness and inefficient attack. Assuming, they took advantage of several opportunities that they add in the 120 minutes to score one additional goal. They would have qualified. Poor United, they look like garbage. Zirkzee and Lindelof lost their penalties, what a shame.

Agree. They actually made many chances for scoring goals but they wasted the chances. It showed that the quality of Man United attackers looked quite bad. Zirkzee and Hojlund can't play as expected. It was also strange that Garnacho was in the bench. I think Eriksen or Zirkzee shouldn't be in the starting lineup. If Garnacho played as starter, Man United may not reach the penalty kick stage.

To my surprise, Man United was held to a draw in normal time by Fullham. And then, Man United lost to Fullham on penalties. It seems I really have too much hope for Man United. because it turns out Man United hasn't recovered at all and is actually getting worse. The star players at Man United are like players who cannot produce their maximum performance. They seemed to be hesitant players and even their accuracy became a bit poor.

Personally speaking I don't put too much hope on United because with the way they have been performing last season and even this season it's clear that United has not find their rethyme and in this present point in time that United is in a transitional process due to the change in management of the coach it will take a while before United can come back to winning ways this is because the players has to adjust to the coach philosophy of football and the tactics, so anyone putting hopes on United to do well now will be disappointed if you are a fan of United just remove your mind from expecting a good result from United this period because the fact is that United can't compete favorably at the top right now

Amorim still experimenting and discovering it's squad reshuffling but no better teacher than a reality check eh? It's always in hindsight that we see things more clearly. Anyway, I see this as it's just their turn this time. They escaped from Arsenal through penalty shootout and they got eliminated in the same manner.

That means the notion that Ruud Van is considered a coach who can bring change is not proven. I don't mean to belittle, but I mean when people started mentioning his name when he was at Manchester United.
I am a bit surprised about Ruun Van's performance to be bad as Leicester City's coach. Because when he was the interim coach of Manchester United, he had a good record of winning matches. Reaching Leicester City as their main head coach, he is not winning matches as the thought of him, which seems surprising to many.

Well, it looks like I can no longer have high hopes for MU even though the opponent they are facing is actually not a strong enough team. Fullham is a mediocre team. But MU still failed to beat them. And this is an indication that MU this season has not yet returned to their better performance. Amorim continues to create different tactics in most of the matches that MU plays and this makes the players unable to stop adapting. And this only makes it slower for MU to recover.

Losses are always disappointing especially when the team had placed high expectations in it since it is a team that has been around with better quality. It is normal that when match is not as expected one feels frustrated especially when the opponent is not considered hard to face. Indeed, unstable performance is a factor that is rather worrying in the present case, especially if changes in strategy go on and have not had the desired effect. When the team is not yet in a stable game performance in any season it greatly hits the morale of the team and how the match that they are faced with is handled.

It seems I have to say goodbye to Southampton. Because with the points they have now, it makes them have to be the team that seems to be the first team to be relegated this season.

It's a shame that this season they can't do anything, they continue to experience bad results which ultimately makes them have to be willing to be at the bottom of the standings with 9 points.

Yep. I still believe that Ruud is what Leicester needs but the players and coaches need to dig in deep to continue in the Premier League.
The Foxes will have to improve across the board if they want to.
Also, note the wingers at the club aren’t good enough they aren’t working, and  Ruud must drop them completely. IMO
It could be a tight race in the mid-table...

He came late to the party and wasn't the one that form that players, I guess he has to adapt with them until the end of the season and if they are able to avoid relegation because they are now in 19 place, if they can just avoid it and make it to the next Premier League season, he will have the resources to build with the players he needed because these ones are nothing but amateurs.

I think the club are at fault, there was one player they sold, that guy contributed so well when they went to Championship but he was sold off and that's how the team situation changes. It has never been the same and the coach has also been sack as well.

Yep, 1 win in the last 11 matches and 6 consecutive home losses without a goal scored. It can't go on like this, can it?
Ruud's main focus is fighting to avoid relegation, He will go backward if results don't improve.
But playing with the same defense and a weak forward every week is the same as a losing game.
Ruud should be brave enough to try some Academy players in the squad who will do a better job.

Seems Manchester United really disappointed you badly. I never expected any thing from them, so it never cross me off guarded, this is what they do and that's what they will do in Premier League too. The winning games they will be having will probably to delay relegation but I fear the way they are playing, because they are closer to the zone of no return.

Amorin need to make some drastic decisions very soon, it will only get out of hand if they don't take their game serious because it's not even funny seeing they only have Premier League left, and they are playing like scumbags every week.
