It seems that Manchester United has lost all hope in the English Premier League this season. I was surprised to see that Nottingham Forest is leading Manchester United at about 70 minutes. The goal was scored by former Manchester United player Elanga at about 5 minutes into the match. It seems that Manchester United will allow them go with three points tonight which is very bad of them. Nottingham Forest had a football match few days ago which means they should have suffered some fatigue that will give Manchester United and edge to beat them but to no avail.

How are you even surprised that the no. 3 team in the table is beating MU? That hope you are talking about has been lost months ago and their job right now is to stay above relegation and maybe win the Europa League.

It's not that they 'allowed' Forest to win and get all three points. I think they really tried to at least get a goal but it didn't come.

Although I have known and discovered Nottingham Forest long time ago when they started to make impressions in the top six of the English Premier League table. I told my brother that Nottingham Forest will definitely play in the European Champions League in season but he argued that they would later drop their pressure. I told him that Nottingham Forest does not have plenty of matches to play so they will behave like Leicester of seasons ago that the lifted the English Premier League. He doubted me, but today Nottingham Forest please comfortably in the top four of the English Premier League and might likely play Champions League next season.

For Manchester United, if I were there coach, how would do anything possible, I mean anything possible to ensure that I win the Europa League and have a ticket to play the Champions League next season.  If he is able to do it, all his sins for the season what definitely be forgiven.

Chelsea definitely should be able to get a win here, Tottenham over the course of this season have been nothing but a mediocre and downhill performance, Chelsea to have struggled over the past few games, however with Nicolas Jackson and Cole Palmer back into the team’s starting lineup, I believe there should be significant improvement with Chelsea’s attack.

Chelsea are really playing well and performing greatly, Enzo Maresca is moving the team well and bringing all the players back to their toes with perfect performance.
Nicolas Jackson is really a great impact to the team, he has more potential and playing time than Nkuku, Nicolas has a lot of chances in a game compared to  Nkuku but no goals though a lot of chances. He is really our striker he performs very impressively but he just need to work on his Goal.

 Sancho on the other hand needs to be more positive and bring better result for Chelsea, a lot of playing time from him but he doesn’t make use of it no hitting or shot at all. Always holding on to ball for long Madueke is more positive than him with better and positive run and hits great results. Sancho really needs to work on that he isn’t positive at all when it comes to hitting.

As Liverpool did not expect to win in large numbers at least above 3 goals - because Everton is quite difficult to beat but I am happy Liverpool can bring points to continue to step up for the EPL trophy this season.
There is still time left I think Liverpool can add another goal advantage.

That match took Liverpool a half of the match duration before they finally made a goal and they stick to that pattern until the match finish. Thier goal was to make their first goal which they did and immediately ran back and protect any team that comes their way and that worked for them until the final whistle was blown and they collected their 3 points.

As the season is coming to an end and everyone is trying to be at a better side, they are now applying strategy and sense to finish their matches because if you play roughly that you will win, you might actually stress yourself without any good results.

I think you should not be too sure about football events, let's me state it categorically that anyone can lose anytime, yea Nottingham forest have really performed beyond expectations this season but at this stage of the league, I believe things can still change, Manchester City has been a shadow of themselves this season because of their inconsistency and misform but the point difference between them and Nottingham forest is just 6 having played 30 matches out of 38 that's to say there are about 8 matches remaining so far, though you may be right in your conclusions but I think the league is not over yet so Manchester city may come up to that position of Nottingham forest if Nottingham forest create the opportunity for such lapses, mate you should know that 8 matches is much to determine who settles in the 3rd position in the league standings.

Anytime that I remember Chelsea were once the front runners of the Premier League topping every other team, I just wonder how they fell off badly to where they are right now. If a team had the opportunity to be the top of the league, I think at worst they should be third or second place but struggling to be at the top is ridiculous.

I don't know what will be the faith of Manchester City but they look pitiable and weak, they are not the club we use to see and now that some players has decided to leave the team, it is big blow on them because with this, even the next season will be hard for them.

I think the most interesting one is the Manchester derby: Man United Vs. Man City. In their last clash, United came up victorious with a 2-1 win. Both teams had problems with underperformance this season, and both showed signs of improvement, but they are far from their prime.
The City is the favourite, but home advantage could be a big factor here.

You're still not used to it? A couple of years ago, I believe it was Chelsea who is in that position and even LFC were struggling to keep top 10 at some point. It's just how it goes when the goal has shifted to getting quick results after a major 'overhaul'.

I don't think LFC's case is similar to United or Chelsea, IIRC. I think their midfield ran out of energy, and injuries hit them hard. You'd argue that United made terrible signings over the last few years or so. In Chelsea's case, the owner is betting on younger players developing rapidly while lowering the cost, so they opt for long-term contracts. I don't think they necessarily want to chase the result asap, at least, they'd have to spend more if they want to do that. If anything, they manage the club more like a business where they chase lower costs and predictable results (chasing a top 4 finish because it gives good money, for example). CMIIW.

Arsenal have literally benched a number of their players today, likely for the game Champions league game against Real Madrid that is coming up during the midweek. Odegaard, Saka, Maritinelli and Timber are all on the bench for this game, I hope they'll be able to get a positive result here and it won't come back to hunt them.
