Anyone watched that City- Crystal Palace early game cracker? Never seen that version of City this season, coming back from behind to whooping Crystal Palace 5-2 FT to go above Chelsea.

This time, Man City really returned to their good form, unfortunately this is not always consistent. but at least, this is very good because they can optimally get a win.

Great start by Crystal Palace. They were leading 2-0 at Etihad Stadium after 21 minutes, and it could've been a 3-0 if the goal had not been disallowed because of the offside. Their joy wasn't long-lasting though. Man City wasn't having it, they pushed harder and the game ended with 5-2.

Arsenal lost points to Brentford, but they still gained an extra point advantage over Nottm Forest, who got stunned by Everton and lost 0-1 at home.

It could have been the first time for Crystal Palace to win Manchester City on the Etihad Stadium on this season and last because I'm sure that Crystal Palace has never won Manchester City weather home or away last season so this 2 first goal they scored was just that moment they have to win the defending champion so that it will be added for them that they won Manchester city with a certain number, the match became much interested after Manchester City peaked form.

Not necessarily it is a turning point to good performance because it usually goes back down, but hopefully Manchester City will remain consistent, but in the future they are still not necessarily winning especially against Everton which is quite difficult recently including a big team.

I would say that Chelsea has missed out on qualifying for the Champions League next season. They got everyone disappointed with their 2-2 draw against a relegation club(Ipswich). Chelsea have just moved from 4th to 6th because of this. Let them forget about qualifying for the Champions League because their poor performance can't get them there when Manchester City and Newcastle have picked form to win their remaining matches

The English premier league now has 5 slot in the UEFA champions league. Arsenal was able to secure that extra slot after defeating Real Madrid on Tuesday, so Chelsea at this point might just need to struggle and work hard to be in the top five. If they eventually choose to lose focus totally and end up outside the top five, then they will have themselves to blame. And I believe other teams like Newcastle and Aston Villa will be glad with this opportunity.

Huge and costly flop by Chelsea. They drew at home against one of the weakest teams in the league. But, considering they were down 0-2 after the first half, maybe they should be happy that at least they earned a point. As things are right now, they dropped to 6th place, so just outside the Champions League places.
I was sure Chelsea would win this one, as Ipswich is too far behind to avoid relegation, so they have nothing to play for. But maybe being relaxed and pressure-free was the key to their success.

Newcastle is not stopping, with an important 4-2 win over Man United. Sounds very impressive, but the last 2 goals were just handed to them on a silver platter by United's defence and goalkeeper.
Newcastle are playing an outstanding game against Crystal Palace on Wednesday. A win will put them in third place at the expense of Nottm Forest.

Even with the 5 slots being allocated to English Premier League, Chelsea would still need to produce some positive results to claim that 5th spot right? If you look at the number of games left, you'd agree that Chelsea's best chance to solidify their position were their last 2 matches. They have 5 matches left, and they'd still face Liverpool, Newcastle and Man United in 3 of those matches, how many we realistically expect them to win from this 3 ?

Sometimes Chelsea is very unpredictable. Because when they are very favored compared to their opponents but the result is a draw. And it really wasn't what was expected. And yes, two draws means Chelsea are now eliminated from the top 4 and have to drop to 6th place again. And that's really very unfortunate. Even though this team is in its best performance, they can really be relied on. Unfortunately this team is starting to lose its consistency at this time.

Chelsea is officially out of the race for the top 4, and that is a disaster for Chelsea. Where would they go from here? They haven’t signed the right players and hired the wrong managers. lol
