Manchester City are not as strong as they were in previous seasons, so they could still feel a sense of defeat when they face Everton in the upcoming match.

I just look at the table and realized that there are no more battle for relegation this season unlike the previous ones. Still possible mathematically but I doubt Ipswich or Leicester could catch up to West Ham and salvage their season.

We would have another confirmed candidate this weekend if Leicester loses to Liverpool. Wolves and West Ham only need to win 2 of their remaining games to push Ipswich out of the window to the championship. We would be having three of the championship promoted clubs back to the championship for next season.

I think they would have gotten better than they're now if Enzo Mascara had stayed back with KDH and not moved to Chelsea, he was more suitable for their project. They have some players on the team like Ndidi and Vardy with EPL experience and could've done better than Ipswich but they had to reshuffles after Enzo Mascara and KDH left.

This was exactly how I saw the game between Aston Villa and Newcastle today. Aston Villa, from the kickoff of the game, had the home advantage and made sure to get the early goal that upset Newcastle's defense and gave Aston Villa's attackers the confidence that this was a game they could win. Forest also have a game in hand and, if they win against Hotspur, they will move up to third ahead of Newcastle.

There's already a breakaway winner this season but those teams fighting for CL competition next season makes it exciting.

The English premier league teams are no small teams to be played with and they always dominate anywhere they find themselves playing in irrespective of their performance in the league. Teams like Manchester United and Tottenham won’t have thought to have come this far in their European title race because their current performances this season doesn’t speak well with what they’re exhibiting in another place. I hope they’re able to bring such performance back to the premier league and witness a lot of tough league performance with the title race not easily decided some matches away to the end of the season but just when the league finishes.

Newcastle's streak of 5 league wins in a row was abruptly ended by Aston Villa today, who themselves are now on a 5 league wins streak.
I was surprised how effortless that win was for Villa. 4 goals might sound like a lot, but it could easily have been 5 or 6 (they had 3 shots of the woodwork).
Villa are now placed 6th, but they are only 2 points away from the 3rd place (currently occupied by Newcastle), and if they keep playing like that, that should be achievable.

Man City earned 3 points on Everton with a 2-0 win, but it took them 84 minutes to score the first goal. Not the greatest performance, but Everton has a decent defence and is not easy to defeat.

Chelsea are playing away against Fulham tomorrow. They are a slight favourite but I don't agree with that. I consider Fulham the more probable winner, or they will split points.

Manchester United and Tottenham needed to be performing well in the Europa because that's where their only hope lies. They can't be performing badly in the Premier League; reaching the Europa League games, their performance is not what write home about; that doesn't make sense. Everyone's expectation is for one of them to reach the finals or both reach there, to later lift the Europa League trophy

Newcastle have been in top form in recent weeks and have even managed to overtake Nottingham and Man city since beating Crystal palace. But unfortunately Newcastle suffered defeat yesterday when they faced Aston Villa. Even with a fairly large score of 4-1. And I think that's very unfortunate because if Newcastle wins that match then Newcastle could even get closer to Arsenal and could potentially overtake Arsenal in the next few weeks. Unfortunately Newcastle lost to Aston Villa. But fortunately Newcastle is still ranked 3rd and still 1 point ahead of Man City which is ranked 4th.

I'm tired of talking of making predictions especially the negative ones. I won’t even waste my time before I get devastated by the scoreline… this team is very lazy, far from the Mourinho and Conte standards. The best result Chelsea can get is a draw....
