The first half between Manchester City and Wolves have just ended, Man City with a goal lead, thanks to De Bruyne... Man City are taking the fight for a top four finish with great importance, a win here would see them move up to 3rd place behind Liverpool and Arsenal with just 3 games left in the season. They are the first team to play for this week, so Newcastle would still the chance to reclaim the 3rd spot when the face Brighton on Sunday.

Man City have dominated the possession in the first half, but Wolves are also causing some serious threat, as expected of a team that have won all 6 of their last league matches, a feat that is best current active winning streak across the league. I think the 2nd half will not be any different and Wolves could still stun Man City if they don't find a way to put the game out beyond reach early.

It's still only 2 points, though, so the chance to finish 3rd or higher still exists. On the other hand, I think this is a good season for Nottingham Forest because nobody predicted they would be this good. Some pundits even put them in the relegation spot at the beginning of the season. A decline in performance should be expected because the squad quality is not as good as the usual top 6 teams in the EPL. So even if they failed to qualify for the UCL, I think the fans would be more than happy to qualify for the UEL.

Good season but couldn't maintain a good place in the table. This guys had a wonderful time by wining some games but to keep it and be at the top became a problem which is why they couldn't maintain that top 4 place, they disappear as if they weren't there in the first places and now people will not be having confidence on them any longer.

The way Nottingham is falling and no longer in the top 4, I only can imagine what people have plan for this Nottingham Forest but looks at how the team manage the worst positions, you never expect them this bad.

It is always important for a team to start the season well and also end the season well because they think that starting the season well but not ending it well will still feel like a bad team that had a bad season. Manchester City has a good record of finishing each season well; this is why they have been among the top teams in the Premier League for a couple of years. Manchester City won after the whole struggle with Wolverhampton, they needed that win so they'll move up an maintain a perfect spot on the table that would enable them play Champions league next season, Wolves did well in the 2nd half though but their attack wasn't enough to pressure City's defense, well it's a narrow escape but the 3 points counts and that's what matters, 3rd place is a good spot anyways but they have to enjoy that spot for the time being cause if Newcastle win their match they'll overtake them with one point though Manchester City would still be in a safe spot cause even though Chelsea and Nottingham Forest win there's City would still be a point ahead of them.

Chelsea is a favourite with odds of x2.1, while betting on Liverpool can yield x3.25. If Chelsea fails to win, they could lose their current 4th place to Nottm Forest (if they manage to overcome their recent crisis and win against Crystal Palace).

Right Manchester City against Wolves game does not sound very exciting but City still won 1-0 at their home ground. This win has definitely made things more difficult for Newcastle team. It will be interesting to see how Newcastle plays in their game away against Brighton knowing they might drop down in league table.

Game between Chelsea and Liverpool on Sunday is also interesting in different way. Since Liverpool has already won league title they might play some of their players who do not usually start games. This could make game hard to predict. And this game is very important for Chelsea if they lose they might drop out of top 4 teams if Nottingham Forest manages to win their game against Crystal Palace. So Sunday is going to be very interesting day for football fans.

All 3 English teams won their respective European semi-final matches tonight.
Manchester United won, Tottenham won and Chelsea won but Only Manchester United kept a clean sheet. Congrats...

And Arsenal is set for dragging if Chelsea, Man Utd, or Spurs wins a trophy and Arsenal doesn’t. It’s going to be h*ll for Arsenal fans.

But this season the teams from the Premier League are truly extraordinary. because both in the European Conference League, the European League and also in the UCL we see there are teams from the Premier League there. And it would be extraordinary if these teams also qualified for the final, including Arsenal in the UCL. And Chelsea and Man Utd and Tottenham seem like a place in the Final is no longer a dream. But for Arsenal the situation is uncertain. Because Arsenal lost in the first leg of the UCL semi-final. But let's just see whether Arsenal will lose or not in the end. 

The Premier League is the best league in Europe, now.  EPL has overtaken La Liga as no 1 league in UEFA rankings.
There are no leagues where teams can be ranked 14th and 16th in a European final.
Arsenal is still in the competition but I doubt they will win the Champions League because PSG and Barcelona are still in there.
Barca and PSG are arguably the best teams in Europe right now. So don't confuse the strength of individual teams with the strength of individual leagues. IMO

Arsenal also with a couple of chances themselves most of them came from Declan Rice, who also happened to be the goalscorer with cool finish after rounding up Kepa. Aside the chances from Declan Rice, the closest to a goal for Arsenal is from Martinelli, every other player have been quite so far, but Arsenal are playing with decent confidence.

Bournemouth have completely turn the game on its head, they're now 2-1 up with just 10 minutes plus stoppage time to go.. Arsenal conceded 2 goals within the space of 8 minutes, and both goals were from set pieces, showing that they've lost concentration, meanwhile they had some chances to put the game to bed early after the 2nd began, they didn't, now they're paying the price.
