I think if Bitcoin is legalized by the government then it is good for the government and a benefit for us.  I would say it is not a threat to the government.

It is necessary first of all to find out what we mean by government support for bitcoin.  We see that now most states have already legalized cryptocurrency or intend to do so in the near future by establishing general rules for their circulation on their territory.  It hardly needs to be called cryptocurrency support.  It's just consent to walk around the country.  Support should be considered the creation of special conditions for the development of its liquidity and infrastructure.  In general, states will not do this, that is, they will not support Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, since they not only do not need a decentralized cryptocurrency, it contradicts their general financial policy.  States will develop their national digitalized central bank currency.
Thank you for posting.  Thank you very much because I learned a lot from your post and I agree with you.  Bitcoin is a threat to us if the cryptocurrency is not legalized by the government.  I think it should be introduced in our country in the same way as it has been introduced in other states

Bitcoin is a threat to us if the cryptocurrency is not legalized by the government.

Well i believe otherwise @Akhi600. The threat is the government, controlling our life, our money, which car or house we buy and every step we take. Cryptocurrencies give us the freedom not to be constantly watched and controlled by those governments. And they do all that simply by knowing what our bank accounts are, in which banks, in which countries, and also knowing the amount of money we have.

With cryptocurrencies they cannot do any of those things, we would stop being slaves of their system and that is what they do not want.

The governments of all the developed and financially advanced countries are supporting Bitcoin. Otherwise, they would not be able to transact through Bitcoin through ATM booths. radually, the time will come when the government of each country will study bitcoin and see that the country's financial situation has improved with the legalization of bitcoin.

Bitcoin has never been and never will be a threat against government power. Government has full power to stop it if only they want yet they let bitcoin to operate and become part of the economy of every country that accept bitcoin. What clear to me bitcoin is a threat to the banks because of the high passive income bmthst bitcoin can offer than the bank.

Bitcoin's popularity is growing day by day. Bitcoin is running like an unbridled crazy horse. I don't think the government can stop Bitcoin. I think whether the government legalizes Bitcoin or not, the whole world will one day legalize Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is a threat to government because of lacking of authority they cannot control it. The other negative side of bitcoin are can be used in laundering, purchasing in illegal market and etc. I think bitcoin is a threat to the government.

I see at several countries have happened. Bitcoin has been supported by the government. No worries about it.

A few days ago, India approved Bitcoin. There are agencies in India for bitcoin transactions. In this way every country will approve. The number of users will increase in countries that do not want to approve. Will then be obliged to approve. This is how Bitcoin will gain popularity.

"They" who do you mean? ATM machines using bitcoin or not, is not a reason for the government to support bitcoin, because before bitcoin, payments using FIAT were still running smoothly. The government had its considerations when it decided to support bitcoin as a payment alternative, I believe one of the reasons was taxes.

The biggest advantage of Bitcoin is that no one has control over Bitcoin. And no country's government can control Bitcoin. Because Bitcoin is self-regulating it is self-regulating. I think the government can't control bitcoin so the government doesn't want to support bitcoin. Hopefully one day the whole world will support Bitcoin.

That is also its biggest flaw. No regulation also means free reign for the scammers.

That's the opposite side, Bitcoin cannot be perfect at everything. And where there is money there are people who try to cheat and lie to take what is not theirs. Of course I'm against scams, but we can't have it all. If governments regulate Bitcoin to avoid scams, the essence of Bitcoin would disappear, as it would also cease to be the freedom it represents.

Most of the countries in the world have supported this bitcoin government but our Bangladesh has not been declared any legitimacy yet. But I don't think there is much time to declare this valid. If the government supports this bitcoin then surely this country will be much brighter.

Bitcoin is self-regulating. No one is in control of Bitcoin. And the control of Bitcoin is not in the hands of any government. I think that is why the government of any country does not want to legalize bitcoin easily. However, I hope that the whole world will one day legalize Bitcoin.

« Reply #179 on: February 18, 2021, 11:26:12 AM »
