Teleport Members from other forums - Teleported Users

Is it possible to transfer my account from Bitcointalk? I've already added your site URL to my BitcoinTalk profile with the same username, and I'd love to join this community! Thanks!

Hello and welcome to the forum Alcadios.

If you've read the OP or posts from other users who have teleported their accounts, you'll see that you have to enter your BitcoinTalk ID in a post on this forum to verify that it's your account.

After that, the administrator will teleport your account, as long as you have a rank of Member or higher.

Don't worry, we all make mistakes.

Now you just have to wait for the administrator to execute the teleport of your account. It usually takes a few hours, although sometimes it can take a little longer, so be a little patient and it will soon be ready.

I tried to get my account teleported but didn't apply with the right credentials. I had wondered why the teleporting didn't work until I decided to check this thread again. Thanks to those who pointed out my error. So here are my for data:

You should not put the link to your Altcoinstalks profile only here, it is more important that you put it in your Bitcointalk profile, that way the administrator can verify that you are the rightful owner of the account and proceed with the teleport.

Accounts only teleport once, not every time you change rank in BTT. Keep in mind that reaching new ranks here is much easier than on BTT, so being a little more active here will allow you to reach new ranks without any problems in a short time. With a little patience and forum activity, you'll surpass your current BTT rank.

So you're telling me there is no way to update rank other then posting once I'm teleported?

Too bad if this is true, because I thought that if I put link on my BTT profile that ACT and BTT will be connected.

Exactly, that's what I said, and you can also read it in the link to the thread in my previous post. Too bad why?. Requesting another teleport only shows that you're not very active here (15 posts in 4 months) while you are very active on BTT, and that's not fair to users who rank up on this forum the traditional way.

Linking your profiles on both forums is a requirement for teleporting, but this requirement does not mean you can do it multiple times.

In case you didn't know, I remind you that ranking up on this forum is very easy right now, but please note that this could change in the future.
