Let's say I have a huge amount of money as an investor, where do I put them? Bitcoin or Gold

We all know that gold is known for its stability which could be vital in times of financial crisis; but doesn't exactly bring good return  WHILE Bitcoin on the other hand can be quite profitable  but it's risk of negative volatility can be catastrophic!


So which has your vote? Gold or Bitcoin!

I don’t own a lot of assets though. But if I have a lot, I will invest in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Because investing in cryptocurrency with risk will definitely pay off. So I think it's much better to invest in Bitcoin than gold. However, people place more importance on gold. Because gold is very well known. But I think Bitcoin is more important.

Yes. Your idea is right. Investing in Bitcoin is definitely risky. But you can't succeed without risking your life. Bitcoin currency is much more likely. I think the investment will be successful. If you ask 100 users in the cryptocurrency market, if they have money, will they use Bitcoin? In reply they will say they are interested in investing in Bitcoin. So I think it's better to invest in risky places.

The only perfect answer to this question rely on a specific person. I am sure he would never consider botcoin if all he knows is only gold and might be possible also if he is jjusy newbie in crypto.

I think older people prefer to invest their savings in conservative assets like Gold.  Investors in their 20s and 40s are likely to choose Bitcoin, it is more convenient, it is digital, it is lighter than Gold and can be bought and sold quickly.

Gold is something that has a physical form and real-world commodities. Also, it has many other use cases rather than only an investment asset. On the other side, BCT can not be used as any other use case other than a financial one. So we should not compare those two.

I vote for Bitcoin, but not at the moment. I think the momentum of BTC has decreased and the price of BTC is in danger of sliding back to $15K, according to some analysis.
So I think if you have a lot of money, wait a while, or invest in ETH2.0
Long term, of course, I still choose BTC over gold.

By investing in gold, you know that nothing will happen with gold and the price of gold does not fall or grow as sharply as bitcoin, but with bitcoin everything is different here, because the price of bitcoin can fall to the bottom or even rise to huge heights, therefore investing in bitcoin is a huge risk and investing in gold is reliability, but if you have big experience investing in bitcoin then I would choose investing in bitcoin.

Why not invest in both so you can have an asset with immense growth (but very volatile which can mean it can go up to the moon and back to the Earth anytime) and one which is known to be a real safe haven due to its known stability especially in the face of crisis and chaos. That is, if a person has a wonderful amount of money just sitting down somewhere else. Of course, personally, I will be putting more into Bitcoin and some other top cryptos as well because of the potential to grow even more. Institutions are right now rushing to Bitcoin and cryptocurrency because they can feel the energy like a volcano about to erupt. Hope we are not burned here after all.

If you have $1,000, I think the best thing to do is diversify your investment to Bitcoin and Gold. Maybe 50/50 or 70/30 or 60/40 is enough depends on what you think the best one to put a higher amount. Stability vs volatility is risky. I think you need to take the risk to do what you wanted to.

Definitely Bitcoin, no gold or other precious metals can show such income as it does. You can invest your money in gold only if you want to save it and not spend a lot on price fluctuations, since gold is more stable than Bitcoin and not so prone to price fluctuations. You must choose stability = low income or high risk = high income.

To be honest, at the moment my assets are partly in bitcoin and the rest is in other altcoins like Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, etc. But I also set aside a little of my money to buy gold, because I think long-term investment in gold will be very profitable. So if you asked whether I would choose btc or gold, then I would choose both
