In Italy, the winner of the Coppa Italia earns a spot in the Europa League.

It cannot be denied that AC Milan is still in a fairly poor state of play and has not yet recovered to their best performance. But in the end they managed to get victory in the latest match. And yeah it's pretty good and I'm happy with the results. I also hope that in Coppa Italia they can win against Bologna. What was wrong with this team was firing Pioli at the end of last season. In fact, AC Milan's problem at that time was not the coach but the quality of the players they had. And after Pioli left we saw no improvement whatsoever in this team. There is only a decline in the quality of the team. So what is clear is that this team must be more patient with the coach they have and give them more time to reorganize this team's squad.

They are in a big mess this season, actually nothing good is to be said about them because they have done nothing, what some other league clubs like them usually do is to achieve one side even if it might not be the highest but AC Milan didn't even qualify for anything at all, not even close, even on the Europa conference league that's the lowest they did not get, let alone the main Europa, everybody is disappointed in them because we had earlier thought that they will qualify for the champions League but that part is a long story for them.

In this case, it can also be detrimental concentrating with a single player like Lamine because this may lead to neglecting other players that may as well bring a different talent and ideas on the table. If Inter can shut down Lamine, it may be possible to blunt a lot of the attack of Barcelona. However it also offers opportunity to others such as Raphinha to take most space on the field.
