I also learned the bitter lesson by facing the same problem while holding many crypto coins in the portfolio. Honestly speaking I was also greedy for more profit and end up in just pennies instead of thousands of dollars and now waiting for a miracle to gain again So I advise every trader not to be greedy and book the profit at the right time.

Actually you don't need to trade if you fail frequently and have lost a lot of money.
You can come up with a "Buy and Hold" investment strategy. as long as you buy coins that have a large market cap and are not greedy, I am sure that sooner or later your losses will be covered and you will get thousands of dollars.

I am scared about it too. On 2019 I was invested all of my portfolio on YANU project. But till now on their group they doesn't have any movement. It was a AI robot related project. Even I have contacted their ceo for giving my money back but they didn't. So for me it was the last time to invest on a project. Form then I never believed on a single project, don't want to carry that loss again.

Yes, i have similar fears and being relatively new market crypto will be facing these risks and scams for a while because you cannot fully trust an exchange, wallet and other services as we have seen them scamming users out of nowhere. So yes there are risks and that is the main fear of the user in the market.

There is nothing to fear in this Cryptocurrency, because actually from the start we already know that Cryptocurrency has a high risk, be it Crypto trading or Crypto investing. 
And if you are afraid in this Cryptocurrency you should just leave it, all of that is a risk so whatever happens we must be prepared.

In my opinion before you are busy selling your tokens. You should search your tokens if that is promising and have a good future. Then decide to sell or hold some just to prepare yourself for the future increase.

People are more educated now so I think it's not very hard to identify a scam or low-quality project. But the truth is right now scam projects are giving higher profit by market manipulation. So you can do small trade to earn some extra profit but holding a scam project for a long time is not a smart idea.

Every crypto trader have only one fear " that's is loss of their fund " . I have fear while I make a plan to invest my fund into newly launched coin . Losing money in Cryptocurrency is definitely feared by everyone, and that's how I feel too. But for some people, losing money in Cryptocurrency has become commonplace. Complete agreement. If a person inadvertently loses their private key, they lose their money. Even the police will not be able to help him, and he must calculate the criminals from transactions himself.
