No, prices fell not because they wanted to secure their assets, but because many whales were on holiday at Christmas and New Year.

Precisely like everyone Me and you need cash for this Christmas for the things we needed so I think this is the main reason for a price and marketcap decline but I think it will return soon after the season.

Yeah. I think price of crypto currencies fall towards the end of every year, I believe the reason is because many people withdraw or sale out their btc or any other crypto currencies in exchange of cash to make provision of Christmas gift,trees cloths, lightening etc all for the purpose of Xmas.

I don't think so dude, it's not because of what happened last 2017 December will be the same this year. What kind of reason is that I thought the market is unpredictable, so some of the community now saying this December will be the downfall of cryptocurrency, isn't Ridiculous? This perhaps might be your speculation only and lets us not justify the thing on which we don't have a valid basis anyway.

Most investors are taking profits before EOY thats why many of them are liquidating their assets mostly in month of December and we always see this price moving down especially in bear market but in bull market its slightly down a bit and pump again.
