Do we need more crypto project?

There are many cryptocurrency projects on the market. Many projects will die from the market. Many projects will survive in the market. The market is constantly changing. New projects will come. New projects will replace old dying projects. I think the situation is normal.

I think new projects are necessary even though they make the crypto market seem more chaotic:
+ They bring new ideas & solutions to the market, eg YFI brings the idea of profit based on liquidity pool;
+ They fill the void in the market;
+ They support existing projects, for example cross-chain transaction platforms born to support different blockchains;
+ They create competition for existing projects to have more motivation to grow. I don't think Ethereum will switch to POS if no other more efficient platforms emerge.

I don't know if we need a new crypto or not but crypto industry will always have new crypto projects. This new crypto project actually isn't a very bad thing because it indicates crypto bussiness improving every time. With new crypto projects, many people can have jobs and many take advantages of the new tokens/coins. If the new crypto projects create good tokens/coins, I think there is no problem about it, but it will be bad if those new projects only create scams.

Yes we need them because we need new potential projects that can strongly compete and stand against the old unproductive coins. There are new coins that have a real use case than the old coins without progressive use case. New coins can travel into the top 100 or even top 1000 if the team push hard the project into success.
