Why no remove karma option?

For those of you who have used the Bitcointalk forum must have known that they have a trust rating system where other DT members can send positive or negative feed back and they can remove those too if they want to. So why don't we have a similar option in karma. Sometimes we sent negative karma to someone but later he accepts his mistake and ensures not to do the same. So in that case we could remove that negative karma from his post.

Feedback I think it is when for example you have made a deal (public or private) with another user of the forum, or to directly mark a scammer so that no other user is scammed with their lies.

The forum admin can change anyone's karma in this forum if they are cheating or abusing karma.
Feedback and helpful posts will get positive karma, it is there to reduce some spammers and fraudsters.

This I agree with and noticed recently. Sometimes I want to remove -1 left I left someone, but by doing so I give +1 (instead of removing -1) and therefore the user goes up by +2 and not +1. The only way around this is to wait 100 hours, then you can remove the -1, but this takes too long.

A little button in between + and - karma as simply "0" would be ideal, to remove any negative or positive karma given, rather than giving more.

This is true, karma is not related to trust. Trust is more related to verified profiles and such.

Yes I know they are very different but I think this option should be in the hand of users too. Like they can make any negative karma they have provided into neutral karma. This will make this forum more decentralized and users will have some power instead of the admin holding all the power.

Karma is the reward of contribution to the forum community. It is just like merit of Bitcointalk. As Altcoinstalks is a friendly forum, for small mistakes we don't want to destroy a man's life in forum what is in Bitcointalk for but he for small mistakes, we have some punishment like strike, negative karma so that he can understand his mistakes and makes him prepare taking lesson from it.

Sometimes we sent negative karma to someone but later he accepts his mistake and ensures not to do the same. So in that case we could remove that negative karma from his post.

If you give negative karma someone for specific reason, after the negative karma receiver understands his mistakes, you can give him positive karma. It will recover your negative karma from him and add extra karma to his id.

For sure admin noticed it and maybe he is now formulating new ideas to solve it. So let's just wait because this change would be possible for the next anniversary. I'm just guessing here and hope that I'm right.

I already think this forum is better than bitcointalk now, just quieter 

We have a revenue sharing model with points/alts, over a dozen membership groups, a karma system, remain relatively friendly and our forum is generally well moderated, but without banning users at the click of a button. Maybe this means in the long-term this forum could become busier, but in reality Bitcoin will always be more popular than altcoins (imo), so we will always be second place in regards to popularity, even if first place when it comes to functionality imo.

What is the proof? I think one of the best proof is the teleportation program.

If they don't see this forum to become bigger, better, wider, and concentrating to develop more improvement. Probably, they will not grab the opportunity to teleport.

For now, bitcoin talk is more popular than this forum but everything will change in the future if the forum maintain the friendly, quality, interactive, while earning environment (imo).

Forum + community + friendly + learning + earning = exponential growth and better future, then family (imo).

For me this forum is already much better than bitcointalk, it is not only about numbers (users, posts) although they are also important. From personal experience I know that here you can talk to an administrator, a mod, like educated people, not like in other places.

In addition to all the tools and functions mentioned above by other users. that makes this forum very different and much better, which I appreciate.

The popularity of the Bitcoin forum is declining day by day. That means there are some bad treats with the users. For some reason friends took part in the bounty campaign together, having trouble selling their talking alleys. But if the deposit address matches, negative feedback is given. It's unfair. Cryptocurrency is not approved in my country. However, there are a lot of buy-sells. I am one of those people who buy and sell. In 2017 the situation was better. Since then most of the users have been suffering from various problems. Currently DTs can understand. Now negative feedback is rarely given. I think negative feedback is given for scam propaganda. I think it’s great. However, if they take part in the bounty campaign, they are exempt. This is a good decision.

Those who can give karma only after getting some important information or informative post, give karma positive. Otherwise with the negative.

I think the karma of the forum should be like the merit of Bitcoin forum. However, there should be negative and positive feedback.

These are expected to be launched in the future. Changing the forum will play a role in improving the forum. But time is needed. I think some users will abuse power.

Some Karma Abusar was caught in many bugs. They are still written in their account. I think the admin notices it all the time. However, some changes will come in the future, when no user will be able to give negative karma to anyone unnecessarily.

If a person is in negative karma without any reason, then the judge of our forum will judge him. There is a separate section for him. The section is Forum court

Me agree with you. Our forum is friendly. There are people who can do some bad things.

It is important to stay cool. There are many options. However, some users mistakenly give karmaphala. Since before the birth of the Bitcoin forum, the Bitcoin forum is popular as a rule. However, our forum is currently behind the Bitcoin forum. So I think it’s also popular right now.

Since the forum needs more active members. So I think teleportation program is important in this case.


There are many users who will not come here if they do not see the future improvement of the forum. But many have come. Because the future of the forum is very bright. Improvements depend on increasing user traffic. Surviving as a bounty hunter in the first place except in the cryptocurrency market, they will convert investors in the future. As their earnings level increases, they will start investing in cryptocurrencies to become more profitable. Then the forum will be much more popular. That is the reality.

me accept your feedback, anyone can talk to the forum admin. The structure of more forums is much better. Any user can feel comfortable here, the type of discussion is very variable, the discussions are constantly increasing with the waves.

I really liked this topic.  I wanted to add such an option.  If by mistake I give my karma.  Whether it is negative or positive.  If I realize my mistake, I can pick up the karma.  It would have been much better for us to have such an arrangement.
