I agree with your prediction litecoin will touch 175 USD at January next year. Litecoin is my favourite coin for long term investment, I also don't believe litecoin will touch 2K USD , It is too far, But every thing can happen.

2000$ for LTC is too high I think. But it could go around 600-700$ if BTC continues its bull run towards the 50k range. We should be realistic and LTC is far away from its ATH so I think it's time to hold some LTC for longer terms.
