The fact that the market is growing and investment in cryptocurrency is increasing, generates a demand for the highest rated cryptocurrencies. if this trend continues, then the prices of the most popular cryptocurrencies will fly to the moon very quickly.

The DeFi project received a lot of support from many new investors and increased a fraction of the crypto market cap in 2020 and in the end Bitcoin hit the highest ATH and increased the market cap to $1T.
Right now on January 11, 2021, the crypto market cap is down by 16% and I think, the crypto market cap will continue to fall as the Bitcoin price goes down.

There are many predictions about the peak market cap levels that are expected to hit due to the current bull run, In my opinion, crypto market can realistically hit 5T market maybe by end of this year and at that point the value of top coins like btc and eth will be very high.

Hitting 5 trillion market cap will take alot  , I'm all bullish on cryptocurrency but 5trillionarlet cap doesn't look achievable this year, even after it broke the 1trillion+ marketcap it didn't take long before it went down again so imagine hitting 5 trillion, for me I would be expecting at least 2 trillion dollars marketcap buy the end of this year, it's going to take time before crypto can hit 5 trillion marketcap,so it's just not in sight.

Yes, it is possible to see duplication of today's capitalization. More and more  funds, are coming into the crypto market. We have a long way, till mass adoption.

We had a week of worries when the correction was more complicated than we could have predicted. Currently BTC is back in stability and the capitalization is also reaching $980B, ready to cross $1T again.
As for the expectations of $2T & $5T, I assume we will need to wait some more time before BTC reaches $50K or $75K.
