ALT/BTC pairs - Bitcoin price interrogation

The market is moving as usual, but hitting highs for altcoins is not happening, maybe I missed Bitcoin by not buying it when the price was above $25k, but if the altcoins pump up, then a new ATH hit will happen and the Bitcoin Price will remain at $40k.

I understand that, but my problem (and this is the main subject of this message) is that I need some BTC to buy altcoins (at least, that's the simplest solution for me as I'm Canadian... I can't transfer CAD directly on Binance).

Well, beside BNB there are another potential coins like DIA and DOT. If still doubtful, to search the top trending or good coins to invest this 2021 is much better. It would be a great help.

I agree with you, bitcoin price has gone up quite high, it's better to choose altcoins because usually altcoin prices are in the support area if you look at bitcoin pairs,
for example is Chainlink, Chainlink price if based on a bitcoin pair is still in the support area, and it's not too late if you want to invest there.

Hi all! My first post here! 

I want to buy some more alcoins, medium term holding.

The most obvious pair choice is ALT with BTC (ex: ADA/BTC). But... Bitcoin is expensive now (at least compare to a couple of months before). Am I loosing something buy doing that?

What if Bitcoin crashes in the meantime (I know the chances are low)?

I'm having problems wrapping up my head around that BTC middle place value.

Any thoughts/advice on that matter?

If you are looking to buy an alts, start with more fundamental coins such as Ether and Polkadot, these are the main alts on the market.

You dont need to worry about that, if your coin pumped you exacly gain profits, no matter you using BTC pairs, because all coin always based on USD

For newbie i think better using USD/Stable pairs than BTC pairs

Here the main thing in this question is not to rush, it is clear that bitcoin is good in trading, but it needs large investments, but I would look at altcoins from the top 10 CMC, now they are showing very good growth, except for XRP of course, so I would choose between these coins for the medium term.

Not too late. If you buy Bitcoin now and hold it for 10 years of course 100% for sure will give you profits. So there is no too late investment in crypto. Investment is all about patience
