What is your take on New social platforms mainly on crypto

I just registered on a newly promoted project known as TORUM. To be honest, i was disappointed with the developer and his team making a post racist post about people from  sea region. this is his post and how he choose to describe people "those who originated from uncivilized SEA regions". it totally disgusting and unacceptable to label some people as uncivilized in this era where people are trying to rebuild and reconnect due to the huge disintegration among us.
giving the fact that we battle racism in every day life.

I never heard the name of the forum, I thought why don't they live in peace and respect each other.
If the goal is the development of cryptocurrency, then everyone must be polite without having to differentiate between ethnicities, customs and other things.

Sorry Mate, not everyone who comes from Southeast Asia is uncivilized. I'm from also from Southeast Asia, but I've never heard of the name TORUM.  Could you please give me the web link from TORUM or anything that could lead me there?  You should still be careful in investing in Cryptocurrency, because we can get all the risks.

I hate racist and so disgusting that the poor mindset had opportunity once and created deception that last for centuries up to now. Hope that this will be the fall of the team for this project you are talking about.

I believe that similar situations and statements could be found everywhere and only the work of moderators corrects such problems. For example, on the bitcoin talk forum, especially in the Russian branch, such situations were very often encountered, and even 2 years ago no one reacted to such statements. But today the problem seems to be solved a little. Based on this, I believe that only the administration of the resource should solve such problems and punish accordingly. But if this is a problem for the whole project, then everyone must give an appropriate assessment and do everything to make the project fail.

I am from Vietnam, a country of ASEAN and I think I have no problem with civilization, maybe he want to say about our traditional chopsticks LOL
Perhaps this is just a comment from him, but it will have a negative impact on the development of that project. Honestly, I do not expect much on any crypto-based social platform, I had known Minds before but now the platform cannot compete with Facebook or Twitter.

Racism is unacceptable because for a forum or platform to become successful there are not supposed to discriminate a certain set of people because of their differences it's very wrong. People who are racist never get to see anything good from the people there discriminate this will only bring hatred and hatred can make a project crumble because the victim might do anything to see that project goes down.

On some people's standards of understanding, there can still be uncivilized people, but those people usually got their system of governance and many of them also their own educational system which can really be so different. And failure to understand them closely and fully lead to some to call these people as "uncivilized" though we know this is already considered a wrong label. Now, i am surprised a modern man still using those words to describe people in the South East Asia to where I do belong actually. I am sure nobody will ever follow a man like that with myopic understanding of people and is not open to variations in style and culture.

They should avoid racist feedback like this when comes to launching a project because they never know that these they called sea region has lot of sympathizers abroad which might be possible future clients to support their projects to grow. Can you link here the details of what is this TORUM is all about? Because I try to Google it but I don't know which one is you referring to.

That's how they view third world people, this is all not free from past history.  But over time if someone still looks down on other people, they may need to go to a psychiatrist.  I will consider this only an underdevelopment of their knowledge of third world people.

People have different opinions and thinking all over the world. Social platforms are free for everyone and are a great place for free speech. So I think there is not any problem with that because we are living in a world where freedom of speech is very important to everyone.
