I believe with time this will be realize as in the adoption of digital currency like cryptos and this is due to technological awareness, availability and understanding like you said. A lot of people still dont have access to and hence lack the understanding of all this technological gadgets/features that can facilitate all digital currency transaction and until this is widely accessible, it would be difficult for Digital currency to take over paper money.

Nowadays, I think out of 100% it is still 95% all over the world remain dependent on paper money.
But both are helpful to everyone actually, in fact, paper money and digital currency are also helping one another, just like if someone wants to send money from the other country they can use digital currency to do it.

I don't see any reason to vote for paper currency! The dollar as an international paper means of payment is not backed by any valuable minerals or other form of physical capital, so it is simply a fiction of the global financial market. There will be no need for persuasion, more People will still come around to use the digital currency, that is cryptocurrency but this will be only those that have the knowledge to do so because like we all know, digital currency even though it is easier and faster for most crossover transactions, it need the know how which most people for now wont be able to do.

In my opinion, from the differences between each, there are some advantages and disadvantages, in terms of use, it is clear that digital money is superior because it is easy and can be used anywhere and from a security point of view, I think paper money is superior because it can be stored in a bank.
