No Big Bull Run for Altcoins in 2021?

I am sure that many of us here are expecting there that can be a big bull run for altcoins within this year but in my opinion I think this is not going to happen. What can we see might be some surge of interest with some coins or tokens from time to time or maybe a manipulation like what WallStreetBets is doing. The reason for the Bitcoin bull run is the entrance of institutional money into the party and this might not be happening with most of the altcoins, except maybe Ethereum.

Now, having said that, of course, I would be happy to be wrong since all of us are really longing for our favorite coins/tokens to take some big leaps ahead in the cryptocurrency market game. What is your opinion and prediction?

I partly agree with you that bullish growth is not observed in the altcoin market, we can only observe manipulations in the market thanks to an artificial pump, but no one makes money there, except for the organizer of the pump.

Yes, you're right, I also didn't really believe it when people said that in 2021 there will be a Big Bull Run. I think the trend of the crypto market from 2020 to 2021 happened because several large companies started to enter the cryptocurrency market, and made cryptocurency their investment. Even though the crypto market trend in the future is positive, it is not as big as most crypto users expect.

Regardless of the reasons, bitcoin has grown in price, but large additional funds have been invested in it. I still expect that after its relatively long stabilization, capital will begin to flow into altcoins and then their good price growth will begin. Moreover, it is most likely that not all will grow, but only promising altcoins.

I do not think that altcoins will grow in price much, but the fact that top altcoins have significantly increased in price is already good.  It's just that many people expect shitcoins to rise in price, this of course will not happen.

I think 2021 will be a bull run of altcoins. Now we see the bullish run of the famous coins. Therefore, they will be followed by the altcoin season. You just have to wait a little longer.

I think I still believe it will. We'll just wait, this is only quarter 1 running. there is still a chance for quarters 2 and 3. there are still many chances of bullrun altcoins.

I think the bull-run of altcoins is right here, just chance not for everyone. Chance only comes to projects that are growing well and have a hard-working & persistent teams.
We see the development of the top 10 CMC, exclude XRP. Ethereum, Cardano, Polkadot, ChainLink, Binance ... all the best altcoin projects have grown by tens of % in the past half year, and bad projects have been forced to disappear or lose all users.
Total crypto capitalization surpassed $1T has shown market success in 2020. The development of top blockchain projects will not disappoint us.

I think we are now at the very beginning of the road and the situation is very similar to 2016-2017.  Then, too, growth began with some altcoins, and as a result, at the beginning of 2018, we saw an explosion of all coins on the market.  Now I expect a similar situation and the culmination awaits us in a year.

Right now, manipulation is going on and newbies are getting into those traps which a sign of bull run. If anyone wonders why it's bullish when newbies get trapped by some manipulators. The answer is: None will do the same mistakes twice, so newbies will try to take entry any top alts as bitcoin is on another level. So newbies will take part on any top alts without any well researching and if it's done in many numbers, than bull run is done.

Of course we are all waiting, but it seems that for now the eyes are still on Bitcoin and something else, but there is no bull run on the altcoins for now. We'll have to keep waiting for what it looks like, and it's been too long, I hope the next time the money hits the market it's not just for Bitcoin.

I still believe there will be a Bullrun for Altcoins this year, Bitcoin will experience a Bullrun at the end of 2020 and it could be that Altcoins will experience a Bullrun at the end of this year.  Let's just wait together, I really believe there will be Bullrun in Altcoin.

Many good Altcoins have already pumped. They have already given us a very good profit. Also many coins are pumping now also. Altcoin bull run is expected by everyone. Hope another bull run will start soon.

In my opinion we already in the bull run because as you can see the price of the altcoins were increasing like eth, ada, dot.. but it was not the same as 2017 the great bullish of the market. I don't know if we witness again another bull this year, only time will tell.

I agree with the op, there isn't going to be any significant bull run for altcoins this year, any one hoping for this should get their mind off it else they end up disappointed, very good performing altcoins will definitely rally from time to time respectively, but the ones that don't have a strong or serious team behind it will definitely continue to lag behind until they are completely dead and out of the crypto space.
