I think we should not forget the contribution of Elton Musk for the good things happening in Bitcoin today because if he did not openly announce to join and invest $1.5 Billion in Bitcoin, the Big Whales will still be the dominant market manipulator of today.

so that the current price continue to increase incessantly. if you look at market movements, every time you make a correction, the price of bitcoin increases by about 3% -30% and it happen many time after every correction.
this could happen because more and more technology companies start investing in bitcoin and the possibility of bitcoin price reaching $ 100k will happen

I am quite happy with the bitcoin movement for the past 6-7 months. Bitcoin is continuously growing at a good pace but we should be cautious too as its a highly volatile but in the current bull run we did not see any high volatility so far. Certainly, the trust factor has been increased in the investor's or trader's mind that's why the Btc market is performing outstandingly. Let's see how the market behaves in the coming months.

As long as funds keeps pouring in to btc market. i strongly believed that the market can never be controlled or determined by whales. there were days when whales move huge amount of money away from btc and the market dropped affecting  altcoins and even causing commotions. currently, the btc market is heading to 1 trillion marketcap. all these is happening within months. we are seeing a huge change in the financial sector and crypto might be a thing for the future.

If there are many players on the market, then it is much more difficult, and sometimes even impossible. BTC bounced exactly from the first support of $52832. Bitcoin made a new all-time high and near to the big milestone of $1 Trillion marketcap. We may see profit booking at this level and market me see s correction soon.

I guess whales did not lose their power as a whole, but yeah now there is institutional money too. Probably some whales are part of GrayScale etc. So I think they can now control the market better than 2017-18.

 Based on Bloomberg data, Bitcoin price jumped past US $ 52,000 for the first time.  In trading in New York, Wednesday (17/2/2021) local time, the price of Bitcoin rose 7.7 percent to the level of US $ 52,332.
 This digital asset is attracting more mainstream investors' attention, especially after Elon Musk through Tesla Inc.  made a purchase of Bitcoin worth US $ 1.5 billion.
