They both have profits and losses, only depending on which you can manage best. Trading is with more risk, compared to investing. You can invest in a very well promising project, but when you don't take out or protect your profits, you might face losses, while that of trading, you must take positive use of every chances that comes the way, and be ready to handle the issue of greed and FOMO, which most times they work hand-in-hand.
Agreed, this asset management is one of the important factors to consider. Both for traders and investors. They must have their own management, which also includes risk management.

When a trader is really serious and disciplined in trading, they will try their best to get more profits than losses, whatever the risk, it will be passed through various efforts and developments in the process.

Likewise with hodlers who also have to be more patient in accepting the market savings, and don't care about anything that happens to the crypto market, especially when it drops. and both of them have their own risks.

asset management and risk management are very much needed in trading and investment. because by having expertise in managing assets and choosing the risks that we must bear, we will understand investing in the crypto world, where the crypto market is very volatile and difficult to predict.
Those who succeed in trading and investing in the crypto world are those who have had the right risk management.

Holders will always be winners in the end, Less risk, don't think about price fluctuations and only focus on buybacks by using DCA strategies, the important thing is that money management is always good and there is still a reserve of money for buybacks.

I myself tried to make a trade and the result was probably at the beginning I made a profit, But when the market was not good I started to get a lot of losses and in the end the result would be the same.
I prefer to hold and sell at the target I have set beforehand.

Holding and selling when reaching the target is the right way to do as a holder. I also do that and enjoy the results every bullish season. Currently I am still holding but not using the DCA method anymore because the price is too high, I only prepare USD and buy when the crypto market is correcting.

A very good strategy for the implementer, but sometimes it's not that easy because psychology really comes into play when the market is not doing well and you don't have money reserves anymore.

Buying at a high price and selling at a low price sometimes occurs because of the panic that occurs, I have experienced and made me feel regretful about doing it, a psychological effect that cannot be managed properly.
But I learned to remain confident and patient, that a decline will only be the point where the high will occur.

I share the same investment strategy as you: I've stopped DCA and am now solely focused on RDCA to take partial profits. I hold both BTC and Altcoins, and I hope I won't miss any market trends.

My goal is not only to generate profits to DCA in the next crypto winter but also to use a portion of the profits for other family goals. That's what makes me the happiest, not just watching the price chart and monitoring the balance fluctuations.

I agree with starting to focus on buying when the market is down, because the price is already high and if using the DCA method it seems less effective when the price starts to rise. I am more focused on trading for now, because when the market volume condition increases, I consider trading to be the most effective way to make a profit.

If it reaches the target, the wise way is to sell the coins for taking profits. But there are people who want to keep holding because they believe it will increase more. It can be good for the potential of higher profits but it also can end up with missing the good profits. In some cases, people failed to take profits and keep holding the coins for few years. Sadly, the coins become delisted and they get no profits at all. That's why we must be careful to make any decision in investment, including in Ethereum investment.

No problem if you stop DCA method. You can focus on your current coins. Just analyze the best time to take profits.

Did any of you manage to get ETH at $2,100 yesterday when Bitcoin dropped to $91K? If you did, you're very lucky because I think that price will be the lowest for ETH this year. However, I’m not sure about next year.
I didn't get that good opportunity to buy ETH at that price range. I wasn't prepared for the sudden trade war that Trump initiated and I also didn't have too many stablecoins left to actively DCA Altcoins.

ETH investors are going through a tough time as the ETH price continues to be extremely boringly sideways. The opportunity for ETH to create a new ATH always exists but it will need a really compelling story to drive ETH's price increase in an increasingly harsh crypto market.

This is of course why the crypto market price movement is more erratic, and the situation that happens makes some of us have to be more selective in some of our actions. Despite these, ETH still holds a good chance of testing new grounds but, of course, the general directions that influence its movement cannot be totally avoided. Thus, the world’s economy and unexpected changes in policies is a threat since some people do not have enough stables to keep on stacking assets at the right time. However, as long as there are interesting developments and growing expansion, ETH may be regarded as an asset in the long term.

ethereum is indeed having a hard time in recent years, it looks flat and struggling. That's why I only bought a little ethereum yesterday for my collection.
I prefer to buy BNB and solana because it seems like these two coins have more potential to rise in the middle of this year.

When it comes to selecting which crypto assets have higher potentiality people have their own ways how to approach this issue. It is correct that Ethereum has not grown much in the recent past whereas BNB and Solana are both bigger in terms of transaction fees, transaction speed, and network adoption. I also realised that the market of the crypto currency operates in cycles which are in some way difficult to be predicted by the performance of the previous time. There are cases where seemingly, there are assets that fall and then there is a large turn or something like that with new adoption of production technology. However, the idea of expanding the assets is quite reasonable since nobody can predict which of the coins will bring them higher revenues in the short or long term.

by diversifying several potential coins will give us many opportunities to gain profit. because as you said we do not know which coin will give higher profit, so we should increase that opportunity by having several coins.

Indeed, it is never easy to choose an asset with high potential, let alone in a world that is continually developing as it is now. As it is seen in previous chapters everyone has his or her perception and perspective how he or she views opportunities that are present out there. In the recent past, Ethereum has not raised its charges considerably, BNB and Solana have begun to post somewhat hostile spikes in transaction fees as well as usage. But even in this case, actions on the market are unpredictable, so diversification still remains the action that many decide upon. Well, it is quite natural to have flexibility to make choices regarding certain aspects when there are various factors that impact prices short term and long term. It is hard to point out which one will be more profitable but the process in this world of investments was healthier if based on efficient analysis.
