Look at the present condition of ethereum it is active moving to rise. It goes down but it goes up immediately. That means ethereum is good to hold for long term. You shall have good future in it. Hold it men. Maybe you  search further info to gain more reliable basis.

The major reason I believe Ethereum is Hodling up currently as the top altcoin is because of the reputation it's had already built back then based on the fact that it was one of the first and most popular altcoin. Basically one other thing is that ethereum was already able to build a good price before many altcoins came into the market.

The price of Bitcoin actually affects ethereum a lot and it's almost as if ethereum drops more in price when BTC dips.

If you can trading profit consistent in bear or bull market will be better use your ethereum for trading, but if you can not do that will be better your ethereum be used for liquidity farming in DeFi are like lending borrowing or add liquidity pool stable eth. Because they will give you passive income in crypto than your ethereum is just idle without produce anything for you.
