I agree with you, but I think the biggest problem is the technological differences between generations. The next generations will have no problem accepting and using new technologies, taking advantage of all that they offer. That is why I think it is very difficult for older people to change that cultural point of view you are referring to.

IMO, I think it didn't change the world but Bitcoin brought a new financial prospect in a digital way and truly it brings more opportunity globally aside from that Bitcoin has also brought more freedom in the financial sector, and because of the Bitcoin introduction to the world it was paving the way for more cryptocurrency base innovations and usability.
