Reason why you hold Ethereum

In my community, many of them give reasons as Ethereum holders because of its ecosystem, we all know that Ethereum's ecosystem is very large.
Starting from small things like tokens, DEX, NFT, web3, all of them are on the Ethereum coin. So, our community chooses the Ethereum coin to HodL because of the ecosystem factor.

If it's a matter of choosing to be an Ethereum holder, it depends on those who use Ethereum for what, but personally, Ethereum is used for decorative purposes only because I like souvenirs.
I am also an Ethereum hodler, no more than 0.01 because currently I don't have enough money to buy more than 0.1 Ethereum. This only my experience for Ethereum coin.

However, it is free for anyone to want to become an Ethereum holder and it really depends on the objective that an individual has towards the functionality of Ethereum. It is for this reason that many people are willingly switching to Ethereum and using rewads, tokens, DEXs, and NFTs. All of that offer much opportunities and freedom to develop. To the ones who continue to hodl even in petty amounts, you do so by the best of your capacities based on your capacity and financial targets. Thus, there is no reason to be critical of starting with a small amount, especially if you feel that this feels right to you. Each single move you make is a move that can still be defined as a valuable one and can still serve as an example in the future.

One of the reasons to hold on to Ethereum is its position after Bitcoin.  Everyone hoped for the second largest coin after Bitcoin to one day touch a good price and investors would find success.  But Ethereum's current position has every investor worried.  While Bitcoin's position is in a nice range, Ethereum has been dumping the most and it is doubtful whether it will be in a better position in the future.  If Ethereum continues to drop its price like this, the popularity of Ethereum will decrease.  However, as the second largest coin, we hold Ethereum in the hope that it can build a nice price position and reach new highs in 2025.

I saw that compared to bitcoin the dominance of ethereum has taken a nosedive, the trend has lasted for a long time (more than 6 months) but now we are at really critical numbers
I don't like ethereum, I make no secret of it, because of the high fees and its overall inefficiency

I can understand that people are holding ETH because it is the second largest crypto coin. But we must hold the coin that can give us good profits. Even if ETH is in 2nd place, it didn't increase very well during this bullrun season. When some top altcoins have reached the new ATH, ETH still can't cross its ATH in 2021. Why we hold ETH if it can give good profits? I think it is time to think about considering other top altcoins as the priority. We don't expect too much on ETH anymore.

yesterday driven by curiosity I wanted to look at the dominance of ethereum 1 year later, therefore starting from a year ago

About that, you are right, the fact that ETH stays in the same place is enough for many people start doubting if it is worth to hold such cryptocurrency. Other altcoins are clearly demonstrating better results and in such volatile crypto market more opportunities are to be expected from younger coins with a higher velocity. Thus, it is possible to look for more promising options the earlier the better considering ETH’s relatively low growth rates. It can be much more profitable sometimes to update your portfolio with the coins that have higher potential in view of the current market trends.

If I were in this position, I would also hold my Ethereum. I am confident that Ethereum will recover quickly even if there is a deep correction, and I even believe that Ethereum can go even higher. This is because Ethereum is a good coin, which has a strong community and supporters.

I have at position holding ethereum and take opportunity moving to future trading to increasing much profitable by MCOIN future kinds, but lack patience waiting for Eth back to higher price loss bigger opportunity earn much profitable because holding Ethereum since lower price and take profit when ETH raise to $3k. I think earn much profitable if hold around several weeks later because Ethereum get easily moving and reach to $4k last few weeks ago although recent price drop.
Don't worry if hold Ethereum and keep patience for longer time opportunity with ETH will break more higher price, if bitcoin going up easy for ETH following bitcoin movement.

There are many ways that Ethereum traders do to get bigger profits, but sometimes the feeling of not getting enough profit actually makes us miss the opportunity to take profit.
I have always believed that Ethereum is a good coin and am optimistic that its price will go to the moon in the future. So holding Ethereum for a longer time is not wrong!

Yes, Ethereum, we can hold it for a long time or we won't lose here. We know that Ethereum is the second largest currency. But if we look at Bitcoin, Bitcoin has gone up a lot this year. We've seen it's in a nice position where it is now. But I think that in the case of Bitcoin, Ethereum should have gotten a better price than it did, but even though we haven't had that kind of market so far, we can hold it for a long time and we hope it sees a bright future this year.

Many of us still hold ethereum because it is a trusted coin and based on its rating it is always in rank #2 next to btc so if we compare it on some altcoins it is the most trusted and tested coin and it will also give us profit if we hold it just like btc.i think it is better to buy this coin than buying a new one this is more safe.

Though I do not hold ETH at the moment, but there are indications it will be most beneficial in the future because owning it will allow one the possibility of investing into upcoming web3 internet revolution. This in the long term appears very promising

Looking at the current market standing of Ethereum, it is possible to tell that Ethereum is much more than an elongation of bitcoin. It is for this reason that ETH is still trusted due to many developments that are coming out of its platform currently. But on the other hand, the crypto market is not only one or two coins or tokens, and thus. Thus, Ethereum will also retain its position but to think that other options if not eliminated completely are less likely to happen is a wrong presumption. However, with a small allocation for a project that is relatively new, one can have so much more than having to cut total losses on ETH. Thus, it is advisable to waiting for a pullback and I believe it logical to hold Ethereum, but some part of the portfolio should be left free.

I do not know why Ethereum is not growing as much as it was a few years ago. The growth is slow. Other crypto is becoming serious choice for investors as they look to buy. Those that are holding ETH still believe in the project but in the end they cannot hold unless they have some hope of making a profit.
