The Prize of Waiting in Holding Coins/Tokens

Right now, I fully realized that in holding cryptocurrencies (including tokens, of course), one of the many things we have to understand is that waiting can be a game we have to play well. And of course, we can get bored looking at the value of what we are into and to see that they are not moving well upwards and even doing the opposite. There is a prize of waiting and that be a good return on investment when the price starts to get to the moon.

In my experience, many times I got so bored and decided to let go of a coin and then the following day the price started to kick up...oh my I then realized that sometimes all the stars are not aligning to make me lucky but then I see that it was a decision I made and I suffered the consequence.

So how then not to get bored? I make sure that I am learning the many things about the coin that I am holding. When the fundamentals are good and the team behind it are active - doing what they should be doing - then that can be a big reason why I am continually holding.

I do the following so that I don't get bored waiting for the coins I get from the bounty
- Participate in the staking program if the listed coins are exchanged, we will get an additional token of profit when staking.
- Providing liquidity for investors and traders on the Dex exchange, there we will also get a little profit.
- Lastly, if the coin / token has a good price, then I will sell 40% and keep 60% for long term investment

I like the staking aspect. I have been holding this particular exchange coin for more than a year now and have been staking it there in the exchange too and have really made profit from it as compared to what I invested and I just sold all of this particular coins and moved the USDT to another exchange to invest in some other coin and less than a week of my doing this the coin price went from $0.0001 to $0.001 two days ago. If I had just waited a bit more I would have had additional $40 to my stack  so this things happen, So some time waiting on HODL can be profitable.

Actually, in my opinion, to hold, you really have to be careful, you really have to be right in choosing the coins to hold. because holding is very boring, especially if in the end all we get is just ashes. so it is better not to hold all types of coins. just choose a clear potential future.

HODL is good only when the entire cryptocurrency market is growing, and when it falls, it is best to sell half of the coins.  Even if a project with a great idea and an active team, as we remember, everything falls in the bear market.

I don't think holding is always the right decision, because many projects have disappeared from the market and holders have lost all their assets. It is important to learn about the project: solutions, potentials, partners, but we also need to analyze the market to achieve the most effective investment strategy. Holder should also sell before a downtrend so he can buy more when the price gets better. Of course, over the long term, we see potential tokens rising in price all the time.

I agree with you, holding coins is a challenging and exciting process. And that's why I do not know how to do this at all and immediately try to sell everything.

The prize of holding a coins and tokens can be dangerous at times but also can be rewarding in the long run if you can be able to wait for a long term project, but the disadvantages can as well be high because if the project fail on the way you loose but at the same time gain when the project succeed in the crypto market.

The prize, the reward of waiting patiently (which means ignoring early dumps, and wait for weak hands to sell cheap their coins/tokens) is making a lot of money, if the project is really good and has a stable development. Unfortunately this is not always the case, but when the right project is found, the payoff is great.

Samething happens with most of the users and i'm also one of them. Even some coins/tokens start to pump and after few hours, those trade under the buying zone which is makes us bored as we're fear of that bear market might happen anytime. This feelings bored us to hodl those coins/tokens, even knowing that those are having great fundamentals and technical support zone in the long run like for few weeks or months.

When the fundamentals are good and the team behind it are active - doing what they should be doing - then that can be a big reason why I am continually holding.

It's the best way to make our mindset that it's better to hodl instead of regretting later on. Also, sometimes farming ( if those coins/tokens have this facility or any pools support those coins/tokens) could help us from selling off those precious coins/tokens, IMO.

there are a lot of coins in my wallet, instead of wanting to hold it until it reaches a new ath when they open a trade, but i am wrong coins i hold a lot of shit coins on my wallet ,
here maybe I need to learn more about the opportunity to choose which coins can become dragon coins
but with staking and farming, I can determine which coins will have value later, I like this program

For holders, the fluctuation is not matter. Here, we can see that many holders really put their money into certain coins, then leaving them and back to them in a certain period. And the price of holding is sometimes very high o and we can enjoy the profits right now

I personally agree to hold the top coins. We can really get the profits. However, what's about the shitcoins? may e it is not worth because sometimes, they become shitcoins or dead coins after so long time waitng. that si why we must be careful when deciding to wait for the altcoin holding

So how then not to get bored? I make sure that I am learning the many things about the coin that I am holding. When the fundamentals are good and the team behind it are active - doing what they should be doing - then that can be a big reason why I am continually holding.

Knowing the team behind is a good way to define what kind of coins you have. The team that are active and responsible enough to answers every queries of the community is healthy indication that the project is still pursuing their platform. As long as there's a progress and basis to mooning in the future we can try to take the risk, hold for the better profit or for zero.

Right, Hold is perfect only for bullish market but when market goes on bearish trend, all holdings will suffer you. Then repurchase is better idea with holding coins/tokens. I prefer to hold staking coins whatever the price on present market because it increases balance and for long term, it increase portfolio balance.
