When Your Portfolio Is Not Moving: My Mindset

My portfolio of some little investment with some top digital assets is not moving at lot for the past two weeks while many others are jumping like crazy. I can feel some impatience within me while there is also that part of me telling me to just HODL on and be patient as my time will come at the moment I am not expecting.

Should this be the kind of mindset we should be adopting?

as long as the coins in the portfolio have a price, then I will hold them.
but this is not a recommendation because everyone has a lot of considerations from holding coins, the price of coins can go down / up at any time, even in 1 day it can go up to 10x.
If it's a new coin then just hold on and wait for more information from the #DevelopmentTeam , because any information like a new partner can increase the price of the coins you have.

It often happens that the price of their token in the initial period will grow strongly, and then fall and no longer reach such high values, or you have to wait for a very long time. Therefore, if the price rises high, sometimes I sell some or even all of the tokens. But so far this is rare. I am waiting for the problem with high transaction costs in the ethereum network to be resolved. After that, the processes that take place in this market should become simpler and clearer. And I hope that the real altcoin season is still ahead of us.

It depends on what you've invested in. If you made it less risky and invested in the top 100, I would also Hodl.

If you have invested it in small market cap projects, you can expect big profits because it is the bullish season, but if the situation changes, there is a lot to lose again. For me it's a gamble, but if these are fresh projects that have the potential to become something big then you may have hit the mark, you have found a gem.

I prefer the top 100 and when something new comes along, I don't invest more than 2-5% of my crypto portfolio.

I would advise you one more thing, if after all the research you are convinced of your investment: stay calm and patient.
You rarely become a millionaire overnight, this is not the lotto.

If you know that your holding is potential with strong community support and didn't yet reach the ATH. To be patient is the key to harvest the long time holding.

Although risky but if you search for that and found it strong coin. To hold and sell in the right high time is worth that impatient.

I think you can see a boost on monday in your portfolio and there is no indication of the bear season so you should wait some more don't be impatient rather you may miss the chance to make some money so wait and just watch i think you will get your profit this week if you have invested in good coins.

Recently I have become patiently waiting for profits from my portfolio and sell only part of the profit, and leave the rest, because there were many cases when I sold everything and after a while these tokens grew ten times higher

One way or another, a long wait sometimes brings good enough profit and many users do not regret it. sometime in 2018, pundi X was very generous to its investors. but then the coin dropped very much in value. Back in 2020, 250,000 pundi X coins could be bought for $ 50, and recently this amount of coins could be sold for $ 2,000.

My some of the coins move after 2 years I waited for 2 years and you are just worried because your coins are not moving for the last 2 weeks. I would say don't worry be patient if you have good potential coins they will move for sure anytime soon. I also feel like you sometimes but I remain patient and optimistic and finally got good profit this year.

This is a good example with a promising token, however, unfortunately, there are not very many of them. Only a few from the large number of tokens I received in 2017 are now starting to wake up and grow in value. Most of them, apparently, have long since died. However, the situation on the cryptocurrency market continues to change and what was relevant several years ago may not work today. We need to constantly adapt and respond correctly to changing conditions in this market.

This happens to me everytime I hodl some coins/tokens I bought like last year I bought SWAP from Trustswap at $0.13 If Im not mistaken its very early and planned to hodl but due to unexpected expenses I sold 90% of it for a minimal profit I have 10k SWAP at that time and I left 1k only for holding/staking then December comes and again price not moving really well then I decided to sell all of them at the end of December 2020 then after 2 months I sold price pump up to $4.9 lol.

Same here, Am just patiently waiting for some of my assets to pick up in price as well, it is had to watch while other tokens are performing well, but there isn't anything we can do than to wait.

I think it depends on your level of trust on what you are holding, if you have 100 percent trust on the coins you are holding in your portfolio, then you have absolutely nothing to worry about in my opinion, you just have to be patient and when the time is right, your time will come just as you have said, this is where we get to find out that holding isn't even as easy as we all think, cus sometimes, you hold a coin that's not moving or moving backwards while everything else is going up, it takes patience and determination not to want to sell and put the money on other coins that you feel is doing much more better.
