What are the biggest signs that we are now in season for alts? There can be many but for me...it would be seeing many big platforms aside from Bitcoin that are taking the lead and the center stage. We know that with this on the background, the BTC dominance is falling - though we should not worry on Bitcoin as it will remain to be the untouched King of Crypto.
We are now seeing Ethereum making from one pump into the next and maybe we can soon see it getting into the $10K level...if there will be no dramatic factor that can cut its climb -- all of these despite its high fees and perennial scalability issues and the continuing growth of Binance Smart Chain.
Another factor is the rise of many meme coins...with most of them lacking credible use-cases and are just making to the moon on the basis of hypes and manifestation of greed. Will this be the Achilles' hell of this altseason bull run? Only time can tell.
Sadly, most of the coins and tokens I am supporting and hodling seem to be "immune" to the rise of the alts and decided to continue sleeping...or is it just me experiencing some personal jinx?
What is Alcoin season anyway?
By definition if 75% of the Top 50 coins performed better than Bitcoin over the last season (90 days) it is Altcoin Season.
So we have been in one since March, but we also had one in August 2020 but nobody noticed.
In addition the 2 charts:

Presented charts can be found here:

As far as I remember, you also bought BNB. With BTC, ETH, BNB would be a good long-term investment, which the top 10 table shows again and again
Not all coins can go up that much because not all of them are worth it.
Most fundamental data and use cases are missing. But some coins are still valued very highly at the time because they belong to a trend. We have 3 trends in the last 12 months, according to my research. First came DEFI, then NFT and everything that goes with it, and now it's MEME's turn.
When the trend is over and the crash that has to come anyway, these long-term coins will remain, and they will continue to dominate the market in the future.
They will then rise first.
This talk about Bitcoin dominance is only superficial talk, something that can be proven by historical charts. But that doesn't mean that Bitcoin has to fall in order for Altcoins to grow.
Without a strong Bitcoin, there will never be another Altcoin season.
