Now the number of participants in airdrops is very high. Due to which no matter how big the budget is, a participant does not get a chance to get much from it. Personally I don't try to join airdrops even if I participate in bounties as it seems like a waste of time to me. Those who worked on Bounty in 2017 they may got big rewards but that trend is no more. Airdrops have gained popularity after the bounty trend, but due to excessive airdrops and the increase in the number of participants, they have also become devalued or worthless.

Are you sure that number of airdrop participants is really that high as it used to be? Would not it be more correct to say, that in past there were more participants, but today there were less but those who participate, do it from multiple accounts? And isnt people now, instead of participating in airdrops, join telegram tapping games and participate in retrodrops (which are not airdrops, as participants have to do a lot of tasks).

It is true that now the number of airdrop enthusiasts seems to be increasing, we can see this from the number of participants taking part in an airdrop project, for example. However, I saw that many of them only registered and then left, but the project still recorded them as participants.

Apart from that, there were many people who ended up not meeting the criteria for getting prizes, so the number of people who won was less than the number of registered participants.

Bounty used to be highly profiting way back in 2017-2018 to 2020 before the industry was flooded with tons of scam project team and worthless project's that have made Bounty and airdrop to become a waste of time since out of 10 airdrops the possibility pf having the whole 10 as worthless and total waste of time is 100%, so this became a very disappointing situation for hunter's and for that many airdrop hunter's departed from active airdrop hunting for a while now.

Although there are still some projects that have rewarded their airdrop and Bounty participants handsomely but the number of those legit project are bearly minimal and at Such their success will go unnoticed.

I think I missed the time when bounties and airdrop was a mega deal in 2018-2021.

I have done tons of bounties and airdrops after the mentioned year around 2022 and 2023, and none would say paid out well with a potential coin other than distributing worthless tokens that can't be traded. That experience of am made not engaged any bounty or airdrop that won't pay in BTC or USDT. I can't waste my time for any just cause to be paid with worthless tokens. That's foolishness

If you say that you missed the opportunity to get big results from airdrops in 2018-2021 then you are very wrong. There are still airdrops that are getting big after the year you mentioned, for example the airdrop from Arbitrum, and several recent projects such as Notcoin which have succeeded in providing a lot of profit for those who participated in the airdrop. When there is a new airdrop, it's best not to choose too many things. Do everything there is so that if in the future there is a successful project, you won't say you missed the airdrop again.

Of course the number of airdrop participants huge but especially everyone is smart now so good project airdrops are never skipped. In the past even if the number of participants was high, there were good projects where airdrops made good profits. For those who have a lot of experience in Airdrop like you must have the safety to distinguish between the scam project and the really worth. Honestly, I am inexperienced in participating in Airdrop so that many of the projects that I participated in only gave small prizes and did not even pay for it. And I prefer to focus on trading rather than Join Airdrop.

First time hearing someone name airdrop as a privilege. Anyone can join it, it is not for selected users only. Searching for project that is not scam isnt a privilege, it is gambling.

I have dropped participating in airdrops long time ago. I dont remember that many were making good money from airdrops, except being lucky with one out of many. Of course Airdrops are total waste of time and the more people realize it the better for them because most people are turning a victim a on daily basis because few days ago a friend became a victim of Airdrop and according to her she didn't know that it was a fake coin and the people disguise there coin to have the same name as one that's already traded in the market and she failed to check there contract address to actually know if is real or not, she just went and invested huge amount of money on that coin and when she decided to sell that was actually when she realize herself that the coin is not the same as the one they were talking about.

So that was how she lost her money and funny enough those things are not just common on airdrops but also on so many other places like most of the telegram signal channels I have also seen someone who lost a lot of money from those telegram signal channel and how they operate is that they will ask you to buy a certain amount of coin they will show you from pancakeswap that within a certain period of time it will start pumping and she bought after all the price pump she couldn't sell because the coin was fake so actually people should really learn from this and avoid those kind of airdrops.

Not good ideas participating on airdrop competition usually the winner are the user have many referral. I found many kinds of airdrop competition and have limitation of the winner regarding with how many referral having, if you don't have any referral yet seems impossible get opportunity for winning an airdrop competition.

Airdrop has changed since the first time. It is not as easy as we thought before, where we just click and place the wallet, then we just have to wait for a certain time, and it can be received.
This may be because it is updated with the final goal being the same as bounties in general and, even as you said, it is more complicated with tasks that are more difficult and, ultimately, you have to pay too.
In the end, everything actually goes back to the past, and it cannot be separated from the need for capital either. But the difference is that bounties are still only used in forums, while they are more involved in Telegram and Twitter.
