I will agree with you that airdrops are someworth crucial in the beginning phase or stage of a project because it stands as a means of publicity and promotion for such project. I believe telegram founder understood the timing and took advantage of the situation.  I must say that the telegram platform was fully developed for that purpose.

So far the telegram ecosystem was designed putting airdrops into consideration because from what I saw, linking of wallets is made easier and everything is still done in the same application and does not require one to look outside of the application till they finish the process of linking their wallets to the apps. I think this is a big fit achieved in preparation for airdrops which projects are so much comfortable with. I can say that the telegram platform now makes airdrops participation now easier and convenient to do.

I experienced that it was the glory days of cryptocurrency, when everything is so easy but not going to happen anymore. Back then, there were a few  thousand participants, now we have millions of new participants, so even if a developer airdropped millions, if you have tens of millions of participants, how are you going to allocate that, You are lucky if you get $100 in one airdrop because airdrop participants now a day average $5 to $10 per airdrop.

Yes, too many modern airdrops are worthless. Most of them results in too small money and scams. There are too little number of modern airdrops which can result in good amount of money. Sure, it is so much different with airdrops in 2017, many of the airdrops result in good amount of money. Getting 20 ETH from social media isn't so surprising at that time. Getting 20 ETH from social media isn't so surprising at that time. But now, it is impossible to get 20 ETH from social media.

There is no way now that one can get an airdrop worth of 20eth on a go. 20eth alone is worth a huge amount of money that can sustain a project in some ways. I do not think any project can do such now compared to then, when the monetary value is very small and the volume is a bit reasonable. These days, projects prefer giving their tokens as rewards for engagements and activities that they have made for their promoters and airdrop participants.

20ETH from airdrop? Only possible if you cheat with multiple accounts. Back in 2017, ETH cost on average $250-300. Getting $5-6k with solo account in social media, impossible. There is a tiny chance that altcoin will get pumped, but catching that opportunity, still impossible that a person will be that lucky.

I cant wait when people stop considering as free money. And cant wait when people will start to give proofs (like that story with 20ETH from few reposts).

Actually I want to say that airdrop was worthfull while the owner of this topic has created this topic. But right now I want to say that doing airdrop is kind of buying lottery ticket by wasting the time of users. But it is true that recently we see some hype in the market by airdrop and some of users have gain good profit but ultimately if we see we will find the same thing tomorrow .

Currently airdrops are not allocating good rewards to its users but I think if someone participates in that airdrops which has the requirements of investment then he can find airdrops worthy because many people try for free airdrops and free airdrops are not always according to our hopes.

Some are good though not all are just a waste of time but still there are few that stands out especially if these projects has potential or has good narratives. In my own personal experience with the latest airdrops it's not doing good I mean not profitable to me just a total waste of time doing tasks that is not worth my effort.

Yeap we thought that airdrop market going to come back like the 2018 when the bounty campaign and also airdrop campaign does really good rewards to the particiapants but these have destroyed by the scammer and the spammer. Scammer are from the cryptocurrency project and the Spammers are from the bounty and airdrop hunters.

It is from airdrops, we don't know if he is cheating in airdrops. But if it is signature campaign in the forum, we can suspect it is multi-account case. However, 2017 was the era of ICO, people got a lot of money from ICO projects. So I am actually not really surprised if there are people who can get big money from airdrops. I still remembered that there are of my friends who became rich suddenly at that time. They followed bounties and airdrops, too. But, it will never happen again now. It is difficult to get a lot of money from airdrops and bounties.

Notcoin hype was after the airdrop, so the farming wasn't over saturated from the very start, that's why it was worthy airdrop.

Newer projects following the Notcoin hype, are either farming the users, or themselves are over farmed by the users, hence they are not being worth it.
