Airdrop might be the alternative for beginners who want to start crypto and not necessarily for all beginners. Telegram being a mobile app have certainly made it easier to access telegram related airdrops but having a computer was never really a necessity to do airdrops, I have done everything on mobile since I started doing airdrops back in 2013 (Stellar was my first), plenty airdrops done since then and computer has been rarely a must.
