The market is wide and huge and certainly can accommodate Gemini if it can offer much better than Binance and yes it can use its being regulated as the main advantage in the fight for more share of the cryptocurrency market. Gemini has to be good in marketing just like Binance and should be creative enough to get to know what the people really wanted. The thing with Binance is that it is always connected with the pulse of the people, hence its strong leadership.

It is great to know and I will be really happy if atleast a couple more platforms grow as big as binance has become. Binance just look too dominant and manipulative at the moment so I think we need some serious competition at the top so some big names like gemini need to up their game.
