How is NEO different than Ethereum?

One of the main differences between NEO and Ethereum is their smart contracts. While both support smart contracts that can do various things, NEO smart contracts have the upper hand on Ethereum smart contracts for one simple reason. Developers can create NEO smart contracts using familiar programming languages.

Ethereum uses a new programming language called Solidity specifically made for writing Ethereum smart contracts. On NEO, however, developers can create smart contracts with familiar programming languages like C#, Javascript, Java, Python, and Go. Ease of development is important since smart contracts can hold lots of money in the form of cryptocurrency. Building complex applications using unfamiliar languages were proven to be dangerous with The DAO hack.

I don't know about neo but I like Ethereum , Ethereum is a high secure network this is very easy to use it has big eco system than neo so Ethereum is still popular also we can easily deploy secure smart contract in Ethereum chain but some times it's gas fee is too high than BTC transaction but it will be solved in the next upgrade.

NEO supports many additional code bases (e.g. C#, VB.Net, F#, Java, Kotlin) while Ethereum has it’s own proprietary language called Solidity, which requires developers to learn that before any development can take place. This means a longer learning curve and barrier to entry which could hinder the number of developers that can enter the ecosystem.

NEO is better for Chinese cryptocurrency trading.

Yeah several people said , NEO is Chinese crypto currency.
It's popular there.
Ethereum is more popular at the world because  many people invested on it.
I don't know how different, It is just popularity.

NEO is just Chinese coin , and more popular there, as many people said .
I still believe ETH is  more potential

You are right, and one the deference between Neo and ETH platforms is their transaction speed. Ethereum offers a much slower deal, and can barely handle 15 transactions per second.

NEO is faster transaction but not popular like ethereum.
I think NEO team should have good marketing team to promo their project.

nowadays neo is not a popular altcoin this coin is going towards 100 place in coin market cap but ethereum has second place in CMC at the past two weeks ethereum chain trade volume is too high solona to ethereum bridge transactions is significantly increasing solona money is in flow into ethereum eco system so every body waiting for ethereum pump.
