Yes, maybe we should switch to other meme coins such as shib and PEPE, because doge is not showing good progress, maybe you are right that people are no longer influenced by what Elon Musk is doing, they already have their own analysis and priority coins.  It's best that way, we don't need to invest in coins that only rely on hype.

Meme coins are very risky, but it seems that doge is doing its function as the leader of meme coins well and is in the top 10 coins.  Even though I see lots of meme coins popping up, only a few remain and are popular, such as dogecoin, shib and recently I saw PEPE's price increase very well.

Doge's ATH is $0.7376 and it happened in 2021, the bullish era of last season. If the target is for the peak season of the bullish era of this season, it could be achieved. With the meme coins still being hyped for now, there is actually a chance for Doge. You don't need to buy that much meme coins if you want to make profit from them.
Just focusing on the top meme coins currently would give you profit during the bull run still. There's a chance though that it might not double your money, but at least you make profit.

It's good that you're holding DOGE as a meme coin instead of those low market cap ones out there. I'm pretty sure that DOGE will sky rocket in price, but it will not reach it's past ATH of $0.77 I think. I'm pretty sure that you will make profit in DOGE. Just be patient, and wait until the bull run starts or reach it's peak.
