It is said in many circles, not just crypto circles, that the only permanent thing is change. But I know that the top coins or old coins in crypto like bitcoin, ethereum, binance coin etc would still almost be there in guarantee. You can buy them and store in a cold and offline wallet and expect them to be there and in profit in 10 years time
Bitcoin? Definitely Yes.

Ethereum?, well maybe...

BNB? That I'm not sure about, reasons because, the BNB token is more like the native currency of the crypto Centralized exchange Binance, and we can also say that the token is pegged to the exchange, which means that, If anything is the happen to the exchange Binance, then it'll automatically affect the BNB token.
We know fully well that Centralized exchanges has their own flaws and are prone to crashes or bankruptcy, just like we've seen with previous Centralized exchanges in the past.

I'm not saying that Binance is going to join them, all I'm saying is that there's a pretty good possibility for that to happen and if it eventually happens, even if it doesn't mark the end of the BNB token, it's gonna do some pretty good damage to it, hence making it a very bad choice for long-term HODLing.

If it is 10 years then it is better to hodl bitcoin than altcoin this is my own personal opinion.

Indeed some of the top altcoins have the potential to go higher but I have more confidence in bitcoin with its increase so therefore for altcoins for the short term only what I am doing now.

Yeah this actually a personal preference thing some hodl both depending on their budget how much they are able to accumulate in a certain period of time. I personally have portions of Bitcoin and I also have shitcoins hoping it will blow up one day but I only spent few dollars on it but who knows right?

If you keep ignoring what the old coins could bring, then you are not going to end up with anything good at all, the results will not come and you are going to lose a lot of money. You need to make sure that you are dealing with something that's a bit more profitable and if you do that then the return will be good enough. Old coins are old for a reason and they are dealing with something much more serious which is already establishing your position. Not a lot of places can do that, and because of this I honestly think that we shouldn't be worried about any of this at all. Just accept what it can be, and we could make that work somehow.

Bitcoin is undoubtedly the best coin to HODL for the long-term, it's has proven to have stood the test of time and have been tested and trusted. That's why people who consider Bitcoin for its long-term trajectory and potentials and are not swayed or distracted by the short-term fluctuations are mostly often in profits, while the result may be different for different people, at least we can boldly say that majority are in profit, except of course they try something silly along the line.

Shitcoins or altcoins on the other hand are mostly considered for their short-term potentials, they really do not mostly have long-term potentials, and the odds of knowing which has long-term potentials are pretty slim, so this type of investment are mostly profitable to the early investors who manage to take out their profits before the project is dumped, because further delay could result to unimaginable losses.

When we have money, of course we have to buy coins that have the potential to make a profit. But when we can participate in the Airdrop and Bounty Campaign, we will get tokens or Bitcoin for those who make payments using Bitcoin.

Because as you already know, when we directly buy Shitcoin which has no guarantee of making a profit, it will make it difficult for us to make a profit and our lives will become uneasy because we are afraid of the shitcoin we hold.

If we depend too much on shitcoins, it is very difficult to ensure that we will survive for how long... in my opinion, to play with shitcoins, we must have solid financial strength first, this is to maintain our resilience to uncertain market conditions. ..

It's good not to depend too much on shitcoins which are very risky... even though we use money that we don't need, but until now depending on luck is enough to worry about our future.

It is undeniable that the top coins, especially the old coins that are ranked best on CMC, are very good for investment because they have been proven and proven to be able to survive until now, because active trading has been done and is liked by many investors, so they remain in the position they are today.
For the long term, it is clear that until now it only applies to bitcoin and is not yet feasible for altcoins because they have a greater risk compared to bitcoin.

One thing I think we should note or understand is that these old coins have stand the test of time from the onset they were launched till this very moment. They have built a very strong base for themselves that they have a very strong liquidity and trading volume across most of all the big exchanges you could think of and this is showing in their rankings on coinmarketcap.

The old coin as a matter of fact has that popularity figure in them and have already been integrated into systems which have been running for years since the inception of Crypto currency and that has led to their popularity and as a matter of fact, they have been able to scale through the hurdles to achieve the name they already made for themselves now. So what do you think can be able to destroy their existence so easily as old coins still trending till this very moment.

Holding bitcoins for the long term can yield much higher profits than shitcoins while keeping your portfolio healthier. With investors Bitcoin is giving its full return every time since its inception which in my opinion can be a safe investment platform. Buying opportunities in downtrends in the market add more fractions at the same time with relatively fewer dollars.

That's the right way!!! You spend a few dollars in this shitcoin like in gambling, then there is still a chance that the shitcoin explodes when the bullish comes.
Now the accumulation of bitcoin for myself because I want to have more before the price of bitcoin to $100K so will not miss the opportunity at a relatively low price.

Top coins are mostly old coins, they become the top coins through process. Even if there are coins can be the top 50 coins in a short time, but most of them need a long time to be among the top coins. Moreover the top 10 coins, they are old coins, no new coins among the top 10 coins. Because of this, we have enough data to analyze the potential of those old coins in the future.

Long term holders must do a deep analysis before they decide to choose which coins on the market. Even if they will choose top coins, they must do a research and analysis. Not every old coin can be good to hold a long term. Some old coins can be dead coins or be shit coins because of no development made by the project teams. So, we also apply the same approach in choosing old coins, the same as analyzing new coins.

Not every old coin can be good to hold a long term. Some old coins can be dead coins or be shit coins because of no development made by the project teams. So, we also apply the same approach in choosing old coins, the same as analyzing new coins.
Until now, it has been indeed difficult to change the state of the best position on the. predicate at CMC, always is an old coin that has provided evidence and contributions that have been made. So that it can be done now, in a long time, it has been done, so that it is still an option for investors. Rarely there are those who want to move on the grounds that they are not trapped in something that might later be detrimental to them.
I agree and always keep on analyzing the top coins whether there to see no significant changes, so that there are no mistakes before deciding we will continue to hold them for a short time when the bullish season will occur.
The opportunity was not in vain when the season had occurred and we only had to achieve the benefits that had been awaited so far.

Agree with you, Bitcoin is the best coin in the market, aside being the first ever coin created by Satoshi Nakamoto, it has gained quite a good reputation for itself, and that is why people gets interested in cryptocurrency in the first place. The most fascinating part it that, Bitcoin is still profitable even till today, so we have both reputation and assurance of profit especially on long term were you'll stay relaxed and see the value of your coin grow over the years. Comparatively some  altcoins have also built quite a good reputation for themselves and can be good for long term investment but majority are not doing well and could end up becoming a shitcoin.

It is said in many circles, not just crypto circles, that the only permanent thing is change. But I know that the top coins or old coins in crypto like bitcoin, ethereum, binance coin etc would still almost be there in guarantee. You can buy them and store in a cold and offline wallet and expect them to be there and in profit in 10 years time
If it is 10 years then it is better to hodl bitcoin than altcoin this is my own personal opinion.

Indeed some of the top altcoins have the potential to go higher but I have more confidence in bitcoin with its increase so therefore for altcoins for the short term only what I am doing now.
Agreed, there is no alternative to Bitcoin for long term investment. But since everyone's financial situation is not equal, not everyone can be profitable in Bitcoin if they don't have enough money as per their expectations. And for this reason, investors pay special attention to altcoins. They think that it will be profitable for them to invest in a potential coin for a short period of time if they get multiple returns. For such investors I would advise them to hold Ether. Although it is suitable for long term investment. Some can also invest in XRP at this point if they want.
