Yes, it is good if someone prefers to choose old coins. We know that old coins have been proven for some years, we know the advantages and the disadvantages. So, we know well how to manage the old coins. It is different from new coins, new coins will be more difficult to predict because the new coins haven't proven yet. If we choose new coins, some people assume it is like gambling with the new projects. It can be very successful or it can end up with nothing.
Old coin have good reputation than new coins regarding how long existing or keep listing on the market after several years difficult to get delist or become scam coins. But for new coins easily delist on the top market after lack transaction volume increasing and price drop significant, I think more safety and less risk when trading or holding old coins as investment assets for long term than new coins with high speculation price pump or dump drastically.
For me always looking for old coin have top ten on market standings position, I won't invest with old coin but have dropped position standings on the market.
I prefer to invest in old coins for medium and long term holding, because their reputation is clear and proven. While I use new coins for short term investment because it is suitable for fast investment, because we do not know whether the coin will survive or not. The risk of new coins is greater so we should do research before buying, study the project and the man behind the project.

That is right and very balanced investment strategy you are proposing here. If we invest in the middle to long term, we can feel safer by selecting coins that are already widely known and trust-worthy. -assets like BTC, ETH, BNB, SOL or any other altcoins that were introduced in the past have proven immune to market volatility and have strong or growing communities and with advancing technology constantly improving. Staking in these coins makes us confident because these projects have been tested in the market over the years.

However, investing in new coins for the short term is also another potentially very interesting investment, though with higher risk. In the new issues, there is always the possibility of making fast money because the prices fluctuate greatly. But it is necessary for us always to carry out meaningful daily research prior to the decision to buy. It helps us minimize the rate of falling for fake coins or a project that cannot be sustained by their developers. With research and the right strategies we are in a position to avail both long term and short term investment.

With good analysis made, both can be utilized and both methods can be applied to a situation, depending on the targets the person has, of course.

Yes, old coins have survived for years in the market and have a large community and are still surviving until now, while new coins rely on hype and we also have to study their projects whether they will be useful for users or not, study who is on their team because it is difficult to find coins as strong as top coins. We have to be careful if we want to hold new coins or projects for the long term.

Of course, old coins and those that are in the best and potential positions until now are very reliable to hold, but many old coins that are also not developing well are indeed better left because they only waste funds.
New coins usually rely on hype, and you are right and, of course, that is not good to hold because it will be detrimental, but there are also many new coins that can penetrate the current best rankings and also need to be considered, but once again achieve new coins are too few compared to the old ones.

Old coins are always the main choice like bitcoin, ethereum and BNB. they always cry my wallt and become the coins that I always hold. why do I prefer old coins? because old coins have proven their existence and popularity is quite high, where they have a large community and fans.
It is good if you make the top coins as the main choice. BTC, BNB, ETH, SOL, TRX, TON deserves to be the priority in our portfolio. Yes, they are very popular because they have big community around the world. That's why they have big market caps.

but we should not underestimate new coins that also have good performance and movement in the market, because new coins can also provide higher profits than old coins.
Of course, it is untrue to underestimate new coins. But it is the fact that there are too many failed new coins. Even, many of new coins are just scams. The scammers used new coins to get people's money because people want to be early investors. So, we must be careful if we want to invest in new coins in early stage.

Generally, altcoins are meant for short-term investment plans, whether old or new coins. The idea of having an old coin for the long term is not good because you don't know what the future holds for them and their prices. Check all the old coins you know of, how many are still maintaining their price and position in coinmarketcap ranking? If I am not mistaken so many have lost their relevance in the market, nobody seems to know them again because they have no marketing and run out of ideas about the continuation of their project to be successful in the market

We have to choose which old coin to hold long term. If the old coin is bitcoin there is no doubt, but if the old coin is altcoin we can choose altcoin on the top coins like ethereum and BNB, these coins have been in the top 5 coins for quite a long time.
and I will also try to hold solanan and TON for the long term, but not in large amounts because I am also observing the development of this coin and making analysis.

Yes, choosing major coins like Ethereum and BNB for a long term is good and large number of people consider it very strong from the point that they know how often and stable they perform in the market. This way we can stay adaptable to the market trends having set some amount of exposure to the promising developments such as Solana and TON. In this way the format of the evaluation will be much more flexible as it will allow Amalia to correct the strategy when necessary and follow it through changing trends.

Bitcoin is indeed old but you can't compare Bitcoin as old coin to other old coins you know. Bitcoin is Bitcoin but other old Coins can't move on their own unless the market is bullish about Bitcoin and some of them are just hanging around, they look dead but some people are only promoting it because their money is still stuck in  it else there will be more of it about the coin.

Solana seems to be a strong team but FTX pull them back but they still looks stronger than ever and everything looks like nothing happen in the last bull run and the crash afterwards. I think it's a good thing to still hold Solana but I'm not sure about Ton ecosystem that is full of scammers and no any credible token.

All the old coins you mentioned are good for the long term, but the problem is that most of the investors in the market are interested in investing in a low-price altcoin more than a high-priced altcoin. Their reason is that they stand to make huge profits from low-price altcoin within the space of short term, compared with a high-price altcoin that they can't make good profits from when the market bulls.

What most investors care about, is the money they can make from their crypto investment if they should invest with the little they have.

Yeah some investors prefer to buy coins at low prices, but we also have to think about the risk of each coin we invest in. I prefer old coins even though the price is expensive but we still have the possibility to get profit from the old coins during the bullish season. So old coins that have a good reputation are always a consideration for investment for me.

Agreed, Investing more in old coins with a good track record is another sound action that will minimize risk. When the crypto market is volatile, we feel secure having coins that have not fluctuated much in value for the longest time. Our choice of these coins is to try and grab the opportunity of potentially steadier revenues, especially when the bull run begins. While the prices of these coins may remain a little high they can still provide reasonable returns given the strong backing from the community base established.

Although new coins have more influence in the market recently, investing in old reliable coins is relatively safe. New coins usually increase in price until the hype lasts, and once the hype is over, those coins lose value. There is also doubt as to when those coins will return to their original position in the future. But there are some old projects where investment can get multiple returns. When the market is bullish, the old reliable coins can rise again, but the new coins that are only based on hype are more likely to lose.
