Which coin do you refer to? If you mean Bitcoin, it is not a stable coin. Bitcoin keeps increasing its price, its price always skyrockets in each bullrun season. This is the reason why many investors want to put their money in Bitcoin. If Bitcoin price is stable, there will be no investors to put their money into Bitcoin.

OG coins are still kicking when I checked Gecko. The rise is not like a rocket that some of the newer tokens perform now but they remain a safer bet for long-term investors. XRP and ADA leading the way for OG alts maybe because of their recent interactions with the incoming POTUS (as speculated).

Trump declarations on support for bitcoin was a good one although it was a political campaign  promise but one thing we should know about such occurrence is that it could be classified as amongst the factors that could trigger a spike in price of bitcoin. Although we all know he is a strong supporter of bitcoin and the crypto community are happy with his statements and promises about bitcoin but it is not over till he begins to fulfil all he has promised after inauguration and swearing in.

One thing I have come to realize is that when a new innovation emanates, there are just few people who are very curios and inquisitive about such development and these people are driven with passion to try out that new technology to see for themselves what it would become of them.  No doubt about your experience at first because one would act that way for something they have not tried before.
