Portfolio diversification helps us increase potential returns through investments in the targeted assets and minimising risks associated with investment. We can increase our points of profit by using promising altcoins and at the same time keep the balance between the number of coins in our portfolio. It is true that, by and large, bitcoin does remain the primary vehicle of choice for its stability and the market dominance it enjoys, nonetheless, any altcoins that are stable and are backed by an active community and development, are equally compelling as well. The important thing is to know to what extent the given asset is risky, or, in other words, what certain features of the selected asset imply for our financial objectives. Thus it is possible to remain open for opportunities while minimising some risks that apply to any business venture.
Diversification will optimize the chance of getting higher profits. But it surely depends on how potential the coins we are holding. If we hold bad coins, it even may lead us to losses. But if we are holding top coins, we will have a chance to get better profits. That is why it is very crucial about the coins selection. Yes, this way can minimize the risks but it won't remove the risks totally. We must always remember that crypto investment is high risk investment.

Isn't that what always happens to bitcoin, when it reaches ATH then we will see bitcoin experiencing a correction and then it will rise again in price and reach a new ATH along with the rise of several potential altcoins. And our chance to buy bitcoin and altcoins when there is a correction and can run it when there is another increase.
Fluctuations in the price in the market offer certain pattern that may be useful if properly anticipated. There are always prospects out there that need to be looked at, especially when a correction happens and people have to reflect on what they are doing. In this case the only thing which makes a lot of sense is to act rationally and make the decision based on facts rather than feelings or observed tendencies. In this manner, we have a great opportunity of profiting from the upside risks whenever they may be available later. Firstly, maintaining consistency in our strategic actions will make us to approach fluctuations with a lot more confidence.
The crypto market will always fluctuate. When there is a decline I do not reflect but I will buy potential coins and will sell my coins when the market rises. Consistency in following the trend can make us profit from the trade. Because some people prefer to do scalping when the market fluctuates.
What you do is a very precise way of the situation. The market is always fluctuating, so you have to be able to find the best opportunity. I agree when the price is corrected, then the opportunity to buy potential altcoins and wait for the opportunity when the price increases, then sell it immediately to get profit from the difference in value that occurs. Just one suggestion is not to be too egotistical by hoping that the price will continue to wait to continue to rise but just determine the limit must be released.

If we can take advantage of the opportunities from the fluctuations in the crypto market, we can profit from it.
There will always be worries, so knowledge and experience are needed to be able to control bad emotions.
The fluctuations in the crypto market are what attract investors to invest in crypto.
True, have many potential altcoin current going drop and take advantage buy back back as DCA way will earn much profitable later, but many trader have all out when trading at any coins and forget for spending few percent of their capital to buy back when price most dropping significant. Need control emotion in trading exactly spent half left your capital for correction moment and we can buy any altcoin or bitcoin have lower price.
Now waiting the recovery moment after my all in capital buy coins, wish not take longer time due bitcoin correction and many altcoin going dump.

Indeed, bitcoin has always given surprises, but this time is indeed very unusual. Every time it reaches its best, there will be another correction that is quite sharp and after that it will give another surprise with an even higher increase. So that the current correction will be expected to be the same , and it is not impossible.
Precisely when the correction is an opportunity to buy potential altcoins that have not been able to move to be stored because they will also give surprises along with bitcoin next year.

During price correction for Bitcoin or preferably let me use the word bearish season, during that season so many alt coins dumps and they don't recover again even in the next bull season, they don't move. So, while choosing alt coins to invest on during bear season, it's important to do it wisely.

Yes, strongly agree it happens. There were many altcoins that once brought a potential to the entire crypto market but those altcoins are now worthless and I strongly believe that those altcoins will never recover and even after several bull runs are over, those coins are not able to grow. Moreover, a common trend in the market is that before every bull run, people's investment in new projects increases and when the bull session ends, it becomes worthless.

Fewest percent bitcoin get correction almost all altcoin get drop significant, today bitcoin drop from new ATH price above $108k have been dropped until $98k and many altcoin get down drastically. I think right moment for trader or holder have much capital reinvesting at many top altcoin because around few days later if bitcoin get faster recovery make altcoin not difficult return back to higher price.
Choose right altcoin for investing during have bearish season and waiting around few days later always have moment for cryptocurrency get recovery.

Indeed, good altcoins will not always be able to provide positive things and can fall because of many problems that occur but usually very small from the many that exist., But by continuing to monitor every movement, it can be ensured that we will feel safe with the altcoin of our choice, or it could be, of course, with the best altcoin that is ranked best so far on CMC then we will be able to monitor it well at all times and not make us afraid. But as you said about new projects very often it will happen like that so don't always trust new projects right now.

Top altcoins are a good choice, because once we have bitcoin we can diversify by buying some potential altcoins. Ethereum, BNB, SOL, XRP, TON etc.
I agree to always monitor these coins, because the crypto market movement is very volatile and if we don't monitor it we will miss the best time to sell our coins.
Unless we plan to hold long term.

We have to look at the fundamentals of a coin if we want it to last long. We know that many altcoins that were once hype and are now worthless because their investors may have abandoned them.
There are many coins like this, so I agree that many people suggest investing in top coins. Because it is likely to survive for the next few years.

When deciding which coin to invest in we have to be careful not to get carried away by something that might only be popular for a short while. There is also an additional useful idea about coins: it is convenient to look at whether the project has a focus and positive user feedback. However, if the back of the coin is a real innovation and users, it will stand test of time. Previous examples have shown that many coins have had their value drop due to their failure to cultivate investor confidence. Hence, by improving the quality of portfolio we have more chances to sustain in the uncertain market situations and turns.

How do you know which coin will last and which wont though? to me it seems like pot luck.

Isnt it obvious then that older coins like my altcoin favourite (Litecoin) would make perfect sense to get interested in? Its proven its pedigree, its decentralised, secure its been regularly updated which means it hasnt been abandonned.

In the current correction, Bitcoin and altcoins also dropped quite a lot. But I am sure they will increase again significantly in January. We are heading good events in Q1 of 2025, so there will be chance of another big pump. I think we don't need to be so worried about the potential of the altcoins. As long as we don't pass altcoins season, we still have a big chance of taking higher profits. But if we are too late to take profits after the altcoins season, this will be a bad result.

If you believe there will be another increase in the price of BTC and other Altcoins, a price drop like this is the right time to buy Coins. But before buying we must consider which coins have the best potential.
In my opinion, Bitcoin still has a higher potential for increase and maybe next year it will still reach a new ATH again.
Public support for Bitcoin is very high, plus my belief is the full support of the President-elect of the United States, Donald Trump, makes me confident in choosing Bitcoin.

The foundation of constructing a robust investment plan is based on on picking appropriate assets with sound embryological values and longevity significance. I believe that every coin that remains in the market today has not only attracted popularity at some point but also has proper technological support, a strong team, and actual use for consumers. When choosing investment instruments, it is important to remember that option are vast and we should try to choose more growth and development instruments rather than many low quality ones which can increase the amount of risk that are manageable for our portfolio. Looking through all the points before plunging into a project is among the critical factors in investment, where we will ensure that every decision we take will have to support our long term financial plan rather than chasing after trends that are more often than not expected to lose direction.

This should be the right moment to continue buying when the situation is indeed experiencing a correction, and we are very sure that after that it will increase again. I really agree with what you said, because that opportunity may not happen again, even though there is always a possibility that there will still be a correction after the increase.
Of course, bitcoin cannot be avoided because it is a priority, but it must be remembered that many potential altcoins have not reached their best ATH, and it is very possible that it will happen too.
