Funny enough that in every Bitcoin cycle, more coins are been added to the market and I wonder which ones are really good for the long term. There are thousands of projects that are launched that I don't even know anything about them right now and trust me, by the time bull market is gone, that's when you will be hearing of their existence after people have sold.

Some projects die as a result of team not doing anything after the bull run. You know that in bull run, team simple announcement can pump a coin but it's very difficult to do that in a bear market.
Getting to decide or pinpoint the right project that’s right and safe for buying and holding for the longer term has always been the problem when it comes to investing in altcoins, this is mostly because, all these projects are just alike and have literally same characteristics and features which of course may likely make making a choice or the right choice seem like an impossible choice.

This is actually the reason I always try to advice investors, especially the newbies to stay clear off these projects, at least for their own sake, because it’s very easy to delve into the wrong project without even knowing and then investing and losing all their funds in a twinkle of an eye.

Good advice, for newbies it is better to avoid new projects if you do not have experience in doing new project research because many new projects fail. It is better to choose old coins of course top coins as the main choice for them. this is safer even though in the crypto world there is no safe and there is always a risk, but the top coins have a small risk.

Joining new projects are for the experienced people. It is not easy to find out proper projects for investment. Most new projects are difficult to analyze due to less of information. Even if they have partnership with established crypto projects, we can't fully trust them. Many new projects are only good in the beginning, they will be totally different after they do public sales. Newbies can't deal with the big risks, sure they must avoid new projects.

Hello, I think old coins have bigger community than new coin.. Several old coins also has been upgraded, So no worries about old coins.
I still believe in old coin and invested in them.
Old coins will exist for along years again.
Your idea is the right reason. Old coins can be trusted. On the other hand, new coins have technically arrived in the market. So people could not trust the new points yet. On the other hand, old coins gradually became popular among people and people kept trust. Old coins people trust more and that's why people invest more in old coins. Due to which the old point has become more popular. If you plan to invest long term then you should keep old coins as number one.

the only old establish coin you need to put in your #1 is bitcoin but i do believe that you should always put an open mind when approaching new projects because you never know what could be successful in the future and let us be honest new projects is where all the innovations and developments come from that are eventually applied on to the old projects so it will mean a lot if you are the first one to realize a potential of a new tech

You are right about the fact that newbies should avoid new projects if they are not well informed about it. They investing in new coins or tokens will require them to do a proper research and findings on the project  and we all know that it helps alot when we do such and in doing such, there are some vital information or features that they would have or need to look out for before they invest so they do not make any silly mistake.

You are right Investing in cryptocurrency will not be completely safe, because the price of Crypto fluctuates very high. If you want to be safe, you can invest in real estate, this will definitely be safer when compared to investing in crypto.
But if we go back to cryptocurrency, I think Bitcoin is the safest investment than other coins. If we don't want to invest in Bitcoin, choosing old coins like Ethereum is also good.
You can choose potential coins, and I choose top koi coins. Bitcoin is always the [first choice but there are many others we can choose from other top coins such as ethereum, BNB, SOL, TON< XRTP etc. I also have these coins in my wallet because I plan to hold them until next year.
Choosing a top-ranking coin is indeed a safe way when we want to invest or trade cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB are certainly coins that have been proven to be good.
For beginners, it is a safe way, if we cannot choose a new coin. Because analyzing Crypto coins is not easy, choosing these coins is highly recommended.

Choosing top ranking coins at the market very important because have lower risk when dropping to lower price and get easily for recovering to higher price, usually the top ranking coins have much volume transaction and listed at many top exchange make more secure than choosing new coins just hype awhile only before dropping drastically.
Now my trading with old coins only top ranking and priority above 10 top ranking coins, not interested yet with new coins just listing at the market because high possibility will drop drastically although take faster for taking profit.

you are right it is not easy to do research and analysis of new coins especially for newbies who lack knowledge and experience that's why it is recommended to invest in top coins because they already have a reputation and a large community.
I have been in crypto for a long time still prioritize old coins over new projects, because my experience in researching new projects is not much.

Actually, if we have the skills to analyze newly released coins, we can predict which coins will experience a high price increase. That will give us the potential to get bigger profits, but unfortunately not everyone can do that. One way is to choose coins that have been proven to be good, for us to invest and trade. Although the price movement may tend to be slow, it can be safer for us to do. Although there is actually no guarantee of security either, for all the activities we do in this Cryptocurreny.

Have much experienced for analyzing new coins, actually the beginner get difficult if want trade with new coins without seeing how much coins supply and how much developer until the community coins holding.
Usually new coins allocated for airdrop several percent, launchpad or pre sale depend kinds of project. Although new coins listed at many top exchange market if they have allocated much for community or airdrop participants get difficult with that new cons have potential raise higher price after listing.

Yes, of course it will be difficult for beginners, they also need to have someone who is ready to guide them so that they are not in a hurry to make decisions.

However, with the experience they have had over time, of course they will be able to be better than before. But of course it takes time, so as I said, it is better for them to have someone who is ready to guide them or share knowledge.

The main thing is not all newly listed coins even then on the top  exchanges they didn't have potential raise after listing. If we just check out on previous airdrop coins most of them were now half of their listing price. Moreover there are chances for the future especially on the altcoin season but for the beginners they will obviously get in to the trap of FUD and will have loss on there if they don't have knowledge about the cryptospace  investment.

Even if you have good knowledge in analysis, it won't be easy to reveal the potential of new coins. Many bad new projects look very convincing in the early of the project development, but they suddenly dissapear when they already get enough money from early investors. I think it is better to choose old coins that we already know them very well. There are also top old coins that can give us the safer way in the long term investment. However, we must choose the coins with strong fundamentals.

Indeed, not all will be affected by bitcoin, and it is true that you said that there are some that can perform well, but usually, potential altcoins will always be affected by bitcoin, and it is difficult to avoid the movements that occur with bitcoin. Maybe, in my opinion, why not buy bitcoin because its value is already very high, so look for alternatives that are affordable and, of course, are altcoins or meme coins that are indeed being corrected and, of course, they will also be able to reach the latest ATH too.
Yes, actually we can look for alternative coins for investment if we want to buy Bitcoin but Bitcoin is very expensive.
If we succeed in choosing a coin that really has the potential for a high price spike, we will also get big profits.
But sometimes people think, maybe buying Bitcoin is safer than other coins. Finally, they still buy Bitcoin for investment.
I ca not avoid it if anyone still wants to buy bitcoin, even though the price is very expensive, because of the safety factor that can be obtained when buying bitcoin compared to other altcoins, of course. But we also cannot tell ourselves that many potential altcoins today are also very safe to be used as investments, especially the old altcoin, which until now, has been still included in the best rankings and is very reliable as still be able to contribute as well as bitcoin.
