That's the problem, not everyone can do new coin analysis. Especially a beginner, choosing a coin that has been proven to be good and has a good price history will be safer.
But of course we will not always depend on this, a beginner also needs to increase his knowledge to dive deeper into this cryptocurrency trading and investment.
If we have no ability of analyzing new coins, we can invest in old coins. So, it is not a must to analyze new coins. Moreover if we are not confident with new coins, it is better to choose old coins. There are already many old coins with great development. Solana and Ton are 2 coins with great progress during this bullrun season. Why we don't choose these coins if we can't analyze new coins?  ;)

Sure, beginner must keep learning everything. Even, it is no problem to learn about analyzing new coins. But it is not needed to invest in new coins if we are worried with new coins.

It seems like the opportunity to buy coins is still there because bitcoin has not reached ATH again so the opportunity to make a profit is still wide open but the coin is suitable for the short and medium term.
I agree with you if you plan to buy coins for the long term it is better during the bearish season.
Absolutely right, during bitcoin still not reach another new higher price I think bigger opportunity for buying any altcoin but keep priority the most potential coins only.
Have moment for altcoin get raise up to higher price around few percent but bitcoin still under the latest higher price, maybe difficult for altcoin get higher price again if bitcoin have return back above $100k and reach new ATH because if bitcoin have more dominance at market difficult for breaking out altcoin price.
The influence of the new increase in bitcoin will affect all altcoins, especially the potential ones, and I agree that before reaching it, the opportunity to buy the altcoin is very open to later being able to reach the same price as the increase in bitcoin. There should be that when bitcoin increases and have not reached its latest, of course, there is the opportunity for potential altcoins to move immediately so that they can reach ATH. so that later when bitcoin reaches its latest ATH, altcoins can increase higher.

I think the same, things with the other alts can go very well, the btc continues to rise and this is very good for the alts, because on many occasions when the btc rises and a bullish trend is confirmed it does a pullback, I am sure that many will enter the altcoins, because when the price of btc rises again the alts will do so, however this month is very expectant, many of us expect it to rise due to the Trump effect, but we do not know why sometimes in the market the opposite effect can occur, however in the alts it can happen the same, with the older coins that already had their hype, I do not think they will recover.

We do know that we do really have that altcoin season on which it will really be just that too normal that whenever Bitcoin do really pumps up then same goes into altcoins too but of course it will be not all be having that green candle and some of them will really be that staying below.  Speaking about older coins then there's always that potential considering that they've been sitting on higher rankings on which this do simply means that there's a solid support into its investors. It wont really be sitting out on that position for nothing and thats why it will really be that better that you should really that know on what you would gonna invest whether just focusing on Bitcoin or with some mix of solid altcoins specially the old ones.

You make a great point about the resilience of older platforms like EOS, IOTA, and TRON, While newer projects like Solana and Polygon have captured attention, older platforms often have the advantages of establishes tech and communities, I have been participating in projects like $BIO and exploring insights on BingX, which provides helpful tools for tracking trends across both new and legacy coins. It’s true that the crypto space evolves rapidly, but innovations often comes in cycles, and these zombie platforms could surprise us.

No coin launch during the ICO time still rode this market like the ones that were launched in IEO time. Matic and Solana were launch on Binance exchange and they seems to have pass some old coins that were printing money in 2018 ICO times. But I'm not sure if that will change later in the future, Solana is too big right now to fall because it's community driven now not a single person.

I am just looking at where Ethereum is going exactly, oldest coin sitter together with Bitcoin but Bitcoin has left it behind many times. If indeed ethereum is moving like Bitcoin, we should see it at $10k right now.

So many changes had happened with Ethereum since launching. From protocol changes to layer 2 or 3 and then you have the direct competitors. Utilization of ETH would have been higher if they were able to handle the issue of high gas fee for smart contract interactions.

Bitcoin is a safe and long-term stable option, because it is the most established and trusted cryptocurrency. But depending only on bitcoin can limit you something, as other powerful altcoins can also show good performance in the market. Adding old, large ranking altcoins such as Ethereum, Binance Coin, Cardano to your portfolio, you can see different aspects of the market and potentially increase profit opportunities. These altcoins may have somewhat improved or the possibility of adopting new technology, which may increase their prices. In that case, you need to keep in mind the price of coins in the market but fluctuate. If a little bit this way, but you’ll have to face Los with the right strategy and intelligence you can lose your capital if you have to work on the right strategy and mindset

you are right it is not easy to do research and analysis of new coins especially for newbies who lack knowledge and experience that's why it is recommended to invest in top coins because they already have a reputation and a large community.
I have been in crypto for a long time still prioritize old coins over new projects, because my experience in researching new projects is not much.
Have much experienced for analyzing new coins, actually the beginner get difficult if want trade with new coins without seeing how much coins supply and how much developer until the community coins holding.
Usually new coins allocated for airdrop several percent, launchpad or pre sale depend kinds of project. Although new coins listed at many top exchange market if they have allocated much for community or airdrop participants get difficult with that new cons have potential raise higher price after listing.

Well, if i can get you clear, I think that the supply of certain coins out there may not determine the continuous growth and development of these projects at the long run, because there may be regular coin burns that will reduce supply over time and create further developments, like increasing demands.
Again, airdrops given to participants are for project marketing purposes, a strategy to create awareness of the project and increase demands, this may not affect market price at the long run because, there may be some buy back strategy by the project teams.

In a nutshell, old coins are better for newbies traders and investors because many them has stable investors (institutional investors) that enhances the marketcap and the daily trading volumes on exchanges.

Yes, it is true that if you have good experience in the market, you can invest in new coins, but it is risky. Because the number of new coins is certainly not small. On the other hand, we know about the impact of old coins, if you can invest there, the possibility of losing the investment is very low. That is why investment in old coins is encouraged. Although it is difficult to expect the amount of return on investment in old coins in the short term, so you should carefully monitor these issues before investing. If you invest in Ether Sol and Binance coins, there is definitely a possibility of profit in the long term, no matter what the amount of profit in the short term.

In fact, it is the gas fee that ETH cannot control. If you only have a little ETH, even if the price soars, if the cost of sending to the exchange is not profitable, you can only see the price increase but cannot do anything.

In a situation like this, I really agree with your opinion not to take the risk of investing in new coins. For several years it has been very clear that the development of new coins is very great but none of them can last long or even most of them become scams. But we know that, in fact, there are many old coins that can contribute to their holders until now, especially with potential coins that are quite a lot and have been tested so far always giving their best side to their holders. You don't need to analyze anymore, just enter CMC and look for the best ranking, it is certain that it will give positive results.

In fact, it is the gas fee that ETH cannot control. If you only have a little ETH, even if the price soars, if the cost of sending to the exchange is not profitable, you can only see the price increase but cannot do anything.
This is where Layer 2 is important, which continues to be developed on the Ethereum network. Because it is very helpful in overcoming ETH transaction fees which sometimes soar quite high when their network has a very dense number of transactions. But in conditions that are not congested, their transaction fees are still quite affordable for us. So sometimes I store my ETH in layer 2, either in Manta or something else. because I always avoid high costs.

Because the fee is the gas price and the gas units - and sometimes, the congestion of the network brings the price to abysmal numbers. Just like on Bitcoin when it rallies, or Runes pushes something and floods the chain.

For long-term investors, old coins such as BTC and ETH are truly worthy choices for a portfolio, and we only need BTC and ETH, or add BNB if investors believe in the Binance ecosystem. I find it difficult to put my faith in most old coins such as EOS, NEO, LTC, BCH...

For investors following the 4-year cycle, waiting for new coins is truly worthwhile so that they can analyze projects and find the most potential tokens. SUI, OP, TON are wise choices, or many other new coins have slight adjustments but are still backed by large funds, they won't easily disappear before the bullrun.

I support investors choosing tokens based on the potential of each token rather than relying on time, but based on statistics, new coins have the potential to bring higher returns in each new cycle.

Still you believing with manta coins? I have forget and run away for that coins after downtrend drastically and follow the influencer recommended to buy Manta coin but price keep decreasing. For my secure and profitable investing ETH is most right choose, I have regular investment at Ethereum for every month or weekly keep purchasing around 100$ to $500 to buy Eth.
I believe with potential layer 2 of Ethereum have opportunity in the future raise to higher price again and promising much profitable earn than other coins.
