I think It is difficult, because bitcoin is always maintaining it's position. Bitcoin is the first and the King of crypto currency. I don't believe dogecoin can overtake bitcoin at the future. Maybe dogecoin will be top five coin, But not number one.

It doesn't make sense, with Doge huge supply and currently very cheap prices, it's impossible for Doge to replace Bitcoin.  Competing at the top alone will be difficult for Dogecoin.

No. Degocoin is a good coin with huge potentials but will not overtake Bitcoin. Bitcoin remains the king ànd this situation may take long for any altcoin to dethrone. Degocoin is still struggling at below 20th position at coinmarkcap table with it's marketcap far below half of Bitcoin marketcap, the basis of all coins ranking.
In short, degocoin has a long way to go, and the team  should concentrate on to move the project to greater heights, at least, to the first 10 coin at the coinmarkcap ranking

Dogecoin, as for me, is an unnecessary cryptocurrency that does not stand out in anything and it is not clear why so many big players invest in Dogecoin, and as far as I know, transactions on Dogecoin blockhain are very cheap and therefore Dogecoin is so popular, also Dogecoin, of course, cannot compete with Bitcoin in anything other than in cheap transactions.
