I would say it's not easy for a trader to which coins should sell or which coin should be hold because we can not predict the future of any coins but things depend on the marketing or product of the project If the dev is active then we can expect the growth of the project. We learn thing from our experiences so you will also learn from your experience because everyone has different strategies for selling.

Man, the market requires a good research to know the best projects to hold and the once to sell at certain periods. Though many hunters have similar concern even me, and because of no thorough project follow up movements. I had sold a token in 2018 with a wrong impression that team will not promote the project, unfortunately, the team has successfully advance the project and toke value has hit the moon.
Now, try to know the usercases of some of these projects out there, then try your best to research and do a follow up of these projects marketing, partnership, and promotional near future plans and progress. Change is is constant, leave the past mistake and restrategize your crypto ambition for the new year. Thank you.

Okay, I have some criteria about the tokens that I keep, first is a new token with which will do the mainnet for example AME, I hold this coin because the team promised to do mainnet and the last few weeks the team has done the AMA and promised to finish the mainnet as soon as possible on january, so that's a little example from me hope it helps.

That's normal mate, I think almost all member here ever have the same condition.
They sold their tokens, but the token price at one or two years again will more expensive maybe will touch 10x or 20 X.
Crypto holder is always be the winner because the keep calm and hold their tokens until more expensive.
So I think  It's the value of patience

I think You're not stupid mate, being expert need time.
We must have knowledge and experience, It will take along time to be.
I also ever do same like you, sell my prospective coin at low, then the coins soars.
It's annoyed, But It's crypto investing.
We cannot predict accurately.

We should sell whatever the price.
invest in crypto needs cold money.
But we must do daily trading and  hold for short term, medium and long term.

At the beginning I invested in crypto I ever sold more than I earn, maybe It happened several times.
Because I didn't have good analysis about the progress of the coins.
That's normal, because crypto currency is unpredictable.
I started to learn and keep hold when I believe the coins will have great future.

But why would anyone wanna sell more than they earn, I consider that as a poor investment plan. But there's a platform where you can invest and have a chance to earn in the reward program but one can still buy and hodl the native tokens for future maximum.
