Mining NEM requires a process just as complicated as Ethereum.
If we are patient for that then it can be done, provided we also have to be able to learn to understand all the problems for NEM.

Actually, NEM is unminable. But, it can be 'harvested', a term named to the process through which the NEM coins are obtainable.
Not really like mining, but, I guess, a bit easier.

I never know that NEM can be mine at minergate, I'm not exactly so sure if I am right for what I reason yours on the link you gave dude. Isn't Minergate is too risky to install in our desktop? I think our CPU also must have a high-quality specification so that there is no problem when the mining starts in our desktop right?

NEM can't be mined by any GPU or ASIC, it seems like a masternode coin. If you want to get NEM, you have to run a node.
